My friend, today I’m teaching you on ‘Let patience have her perfect work’.
Patience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delays, problems or sufferings. It is forbearance, endurance, perseverance, tolerance, calmness, and understanding.
The apostle said, "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing" James 1:2-4
When you fall into divers temptations, and your prayers are not answered on time, count it all joy! Count it all joy fear not, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7. Understand there is due time!
See the bible says you fall in, and while in there you got to be sober; have ‘a sound mind’, unfeigned faith which is complete trust in complete. If at all your faith is failing - ask God for wisdom to be able to wait. Jesus prayed saying, "O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." Matthew 26:39.
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." James 1:5-8
Ask for wisdom, and say teach me O Lord to wait. Patience is a virtue!
