Look on us!

You look around and you see a man of God what is it supposed to mean to you?

For me, I see a witness, one I should look on.

Peter and John said look on us....we are witnesses!

My friend one day we will all see Jesus

"Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began." Acts 3:21. And today while he's in heaven "he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ" Ephesians 4:11-12. Hear them!

I dubbed this post "Look on us" because I want you to know that Christ will not come back again until every word spoken either by him, his witnesses, prophets or Holy Ghost is fulfilled.

And concerning  the times of restitution; is a season while Christ is in heaven witnessing plays a pivotal role.

Remember "the heaven must receive [Him] until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

"Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." Luke 16:29-31

Peter said look on us, meaning be persuaded about us. We are witnesses; and rather "children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed." Acts 3:25.

"Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities." Acts 3:26

God bless,

The office of a bishop!

"A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach." 1 Timothy 3:2
You got to tick all the boxes to be a bishop, not to tick tick the only one box that suits you most, but all. It‘s not enough only to be able to teach whilst you fail on the other aspects. A bishop must be blameless and beyond reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine, not a bully, but gentle, considerate, and free from the love of money. Now consider also your leader, if he/she can teach, but falls short on the other characteristics then you should know you’re both liable to falling into the devil’s trap. How will he/she take care of the church of God while ethically wrong?
Paul says, "These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, …

Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus!

"For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end" 2 Corinthians 1:13.
What is it that you read about and acknowledge?
When you read your Bible, all you see is grace of God, you see his promises too.
Two promises stand out; that of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is for us the grace of God and, ”all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us" 2 Corinthians 1:20.The Holy Ghost. Paul says, He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; "Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts" 2 Corinthians 1:21-22.

When you read your Bible, don’t be distracted from seeing both these two promises, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.  I trust ye shall be able to acknowledge their presence in your life and significance even to the end of your journey here on Earth.
"For if these things be in you,…

Who are you following?

Each and every one of us will follow someone, however the person you follow will either lead you to fulfil your potential or will lead you to the wrong place.
Who are you following? A deaf-blind leader always lead someone into a ditch. Paul said, "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour." Ephesians 5:1-2
He reminds us of who to follow and that person is none other than God himself who’s to lead you until you encounter his purpose and will.
Following God will lead you to a new birth with Jesus, and life in the spirit. You never go wrong with his plan. But if you follow people they’ll lead you to all uncleanness; idolatry, covetousness and fornication. "For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope..."Romans 8:20.

"Be not ye therefore partakers …
