The spirit of holiness

"And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:" Romans 1:4-5 KJV

  1. Through him who sees me; I received grace for obedience to the faith.
  2. Through his name I  also was declared, with power, to be a son of God, according to the spirit of holiness, not my own, but because Jesus is alive - He lives and abides in me whole.
  3. I received grace, even the spirit of holiness. Grace all sufficient! Grace all peace! Grace all blessed assurance, because we're beloved of God.

The gospel of Christ: is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."

Abraham is our father of faith, none else. In regard to faith, seeing there are so many faiths train yourself always to draw it from the right source.

"For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." Romans 4:3,5

First, believe God. What that means is personally relate with him. It provides you a great fruit of rewards to know him. Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Last but not least, we believe not because we are holy or better than any other but because we believe on him that justifieth the ungodly.

Always remember our faith is counted, is reckoned and it's God alone who weighs the heart, not rules. He alone declares our right standing beyond what we can or cannot do.

God bless,

Who are you following?

Each and every one of us will follow someone, however the person you follow will either lead you to fulfil your potential or will lead you to the wrong place.
Who are you following? A deaf-blind leader always lead someone into a ditch. Paul said, "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour." Ephesians 5:1-2
He reminds us of who to follow and that person is none other than God himself who’s to lead you until you encounter his purpose and will.
Following God will lead you to a new birth with Jesus, and life in the spirit. You never go wrong with his plan. But if you follow people they’ll lead you to all uncleanness; idolatry, covetousness and fornication. "For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope..."Romans 8:20.

The office of a bishop!

"A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach." 1 Timothy 3:2
You got to tick all the boxes to be a bishop, not to tick tick the only one box that suits you most, but all. It‘s not enough only to be able to teach whilst you fail on the other aspects. A bishop must be blameless and beyond reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine, not a bully, but gentle, considerate, and free from the love of money. Now consider also your leader, if he/she can teach, but falls short on the other characteristics then you should know you’re both liable to falling into the devil’s trap. How will he/she take care of the church of God while ethically wrong?
Paul says, "These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, …

Why we go to church

Church is a place where the Lord your God has chosen to place his name there.

Moses said, thou shalt go there, "and worship before the Lord thy God" Deuteronomy 26:10.

You go to Church to worship the Lord, and to "rejoice in every good thing which the Lord thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house..." Deuteronomy 26:11. While there also you petition the Lord to bless you too.

Deuteronomy 26:16-19 says, "This day the Lord thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. Thou hast avouched the Lord this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice: And the Lord hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments; And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, a…
