Be yourself, everyone else is taken!

"And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others." Ephesians 2:1-3.
Don’t follow a crowd, stay true to God. When you go along with the crowd and are just like all the others, then it’s highly probable that you’re walking according to the dictates of the prince of the power of the air, Satan, who is at work right now in the hearts of those who are against the Lord. Be yourself, know that everyone else is taken, they either serve God or the kingdom of the devil.

Children of disobedience are none other than believers working in disobedience, people Paul describes as having "a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." Romans 10:2-3.

Romans 12:1-2 says, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

What’s important for you in this journey of faith is to submit yourself to the righteousness of God, otherwise your labour is in vain.

Sit down, Martha!

The story of Martha and Mary tells us that there are two types of Christians out there; where one is a worshipper and another is a waitperson or server. You can choose what you want to be, that’s to be a worshipper or server. But listen to this before you do; " Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. "" Luke 10:38-42. Mary chose the best part, to sit down at his feet and not be worried, frustrated, confused and troubl

The ways of the Gentiles

Thus says the LORD: "Do not learn the way of the Gentiles; Do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, For the Gentiles are dismayed at them , Jeremiah 10:2 NKJV. Gentiles are the people of this world; are people who care for the things of this life, who glory in flesh and blood, but sit in darkness and the shadow of death.  The LORD said, first, " Do not learn the way of the Gentiles, " second, do not listen to their foolish predictions, and thirdly, Jesus sending His disciples said," Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. " Matthew 10:5. Why? Because their ways are futile and foolish. This world is their portion, but us Christians, as Jesus was so are we in this world - strangers and pilgrims, for we are of God. All the wealth that you see around is the world's goods, but our treasure is above, and our help comes from there too. 1 John 3:14-15 says, " We know that we have passed from death to life, because w

Wise men from the East

After Jesus was born, wise men from the East came  to worship him bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh with them. Many people came to  worship him; shepherds, kings, and angels also. Shepherds came to a manger but these wise men came to the house where Mary were with the child. They came from the East to Jerusalem, asking, "Where is He who has been born king of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East, and have come to worship him." When King Herod heard this, he was frightened and all Jerusalem with him; and calling together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Messiah was to be born.  They told him, " In Bethlehem of Judea; for so it has been written by the prophet: ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel. ’”  Then Herod secretly called for the wise men and learned from them the exact time when th
