He adopted us as his very own sons!

When you received Jesus, you also were rewarded with  "the adoption of sons", as a free gift, "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father" Galatians 4:6.

So my friend, like any other believer who believes; no more are you a servant, but a son; an heir of God through Christ.

You’re quite fortunate "that ye have known God, or rather are known of God" Galatians 4:9. Not everyone has this favour.

Now that you have found God, or that God has found you, God does not  want you to serve Him through a poor, weak or useless religion.  We did that once, not anymore! "...the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead" Acts 17:30-31. You just have to get it right, the way not before Christ, but that which will get you to heaven.

You shouldn’t serve God anyhow my friend, but if you are to worship him, worship him in spirit and truth, "for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth" John 4:23-24.

I said earlier you’re such fortunate, "that ye have known God, or rather are known of God" the right way - the way God promised.

You’re a son, not by the way of a bondmaid, not by our own works of righteousness, but by the way of a freewoman. "But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise" Galatians 4:23.

"Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now." Galatians 4:28-29.

So beware of beggarly elements, and that you not "service unto them which by nature are no gods" Galatians 4:8. Beware of evil workers, "men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ" Galatians 4:8.  Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision!

The office of a bishop!

"A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach." 1 Timothy 3:2
You got to tick all the boxes to be a bishop, not to tick tick the only one box that suits you most, but all. It‘s not enough only to be able to teach whilst you fail on the other aspects. A bishop must be blameless and beyond reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine, not a bully, but gentle, considerate, and free from the love of money. Now consider also your leader, if he/she can teach, but falls short on the other characteristics then you should know you’re both liable to falling into the devil’s trap. How will he/she take care of the church of God while ethically wrong?
Paul says, "These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, …

Who are you following?

Each and every one of us will follow someone, however the person you follow will either lead you to fulfil your potential or will lead you to the wrong place.
Who are you following? A deaf-blind leader always lead someone into a ditch. Paul said, "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour." Ephesians 5:1-2
He reminds us of who to follow and that person is none other than God himself who’s to lead you until you encounter his purpose and will.
Following God will lead you to a new birth with Jesus, and life in the spirit. You never go wrong with his plan. But if you follow people they’ll lead you to all uncleanness; idolatry, covetousness and fornication. "For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope..."Romans 8:20.

"Be not ye therefore partakers …

Christ in you the hope of glory!

God created all things by Jesus Christ, "In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him" Ephesians 3:12
Faith, not your own, but that we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him, Jesus Christ our Lord.
By the faith of him, "the dispensation of the grace of God", was given to us also. Paul says, "by revelation he made known unto me the mystery...Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed...by the Spirit." Ephesians 3:3-5. The revelation is unique my friend.
He wrote also saying, "Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ." Ephesians 3:8-9. We don’t just fellowship anyway anyway but we’re enlightened, an…
