"Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you" James 5:6.
The Lord of sabaoth, does not resist you. He sees you bolster corruption, kill, or live in luxury yet he does not resist when you choose disobedience. But just know one thing; terrible troubles are ahead of you. As you eat, drink and live in pleasure, so are you fattening yourself up against the day of judgement - He is the Lord of sabaoth, the patient waiting Christ!
The apostle says, "Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain" James 5:7. He is patient with iniquity to mature, so that none will have excuses.
Patience therefore is long waiting for something. The husbandman, or the Lord of Sabaoth is waiting for nothing else but the precious fruit of the earth. Remember he gave each one of us talents. Whether it’s one, two or five, it shall surely be required of you. He has long patience for it! Mark 4:26-27 says, "So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how."
"Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh" James 5:8.
Here is how you can also be patient;
- Endure! Be patient in tribulation, "Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not" Romans 12:12.
- Do not sin but then fall into condemnation. Rather, "confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed..." James 5:16.
Just a reminder, every self-indulgence and self-gratification will not go unpunished.
