Walk worthy of the vocation!

God wouldn’t be God if we were to serve him whichever way we want. Jesus left us an example, that’s why he’s Christ. He left us a standard, a way or pattern worthy to be followed by us who believe. "And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it" Exodus 25:1,8-9.

I don’t know how you are making yours, but I want you to know the things of God ain’t that confusing as is purported by false prophets. Remember, "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all" Ephesians 4:4-6.

For that reason Paul says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." Ephesians 4:1-3.

We each should endeavour to keep the unity of the Spirit, not as dictated by us or our feelings, but ordered by Him in the bond of peace, and us flowing together according to the measure of the gift of Christ, or grace given to each one of us.

In the body of Christ is enough grace for everyone; to be humble, and gentle, and to be patient with each other, whether it be for our faults because of love.

It’s sad that  some prophets, some evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers are busy destroying the body of Christ, who instead of perfecting or edifying the body of Christ are walking in uncleanness, fornication and covetousness. How do I know that’s what they do? By their fruits of course. They even toss believers to and fro, "with every wind of doctrine.....and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive" Ephesians 4:14.

But I write like this because I want you to grow in Christ in all things; "the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part..."Ephesians 4:16.

I want you to grow in Christ in all things, not in ignorance or vanity of the mind. "If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another" Ephesians 4:21-25.

Some of us we got to learn to put off literal old prophets from our lives, false prophets which we know are corrupt and dishonest in our feast of charity. After you’ve done it, put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

The office of a bishop!

"A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach." 1 Timothy 3:2
You got to tick all the boxes to be a bishop, not to tick tick the only one box that suits you most, but all. It‘s not enough only to be able to teach whilst you fail on the other aspects. A bishop must be blameless and beyond reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine, not a bully, but gentle, considerate, and free from the love of money. Now consider also your leader, if he/she can teach, but falls short on the other characteristics then you should know you’re both liable to falling into the devil’s trap. How will he/she take care of the church of God while ethically wrong?
Paul says, "These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, …

Who are you following?

Each and every one of us will follow someone, however the person you follow will either lead you to fulfil your potential or will lead you to the wrong place.
Who are you following? A deaf-blind leader always lead someone into a ditch. Paul said, "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour." Ephesians 5:1-2
He reminds us of who to follow and that person is none other than God himself who’s to lead you until you encounter his purpose and will.
Following God will lead you to a new birth with Jesus, and life in the spirit. You never go wrong with his plan. But if you follow people they’ll lead you to all uncleanness; idolatry, covetousness and fornication. "For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope..."Romans 8:20.

Christ in you the hope of glory!

God created all things by Jesus Christ, "In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him" Ephesians 3:12
Faith, not your own, but that we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him, Jesus Christ our Lord.
By the faith of him, "the dispensation of the grace of God", was given to us also. Paul says, "by revelation he made known unto me the mystery...Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed...by the Spirit." Ephesians 3:3-5. The revelation is unique my friend.
He wrote also saying, "Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ." Ephesians 3:8-9. We don’t just fellowship anyway anyway but we’re enlightened, an…
