We are his workmanship

Today I want you to know that you’re God’s work, a work of masterful creativity. God found you on the road to Jericho; and there you were dead in your trespasses and sins. You were just like all the others, full of sin, obeying Satan, the prince of the power of the air, who is at work right now in the hearts of those who are the children of disobedience.

But then when we say "you are his workmanship," we mean you were once dead, but now "you hath he quickened" Ephesians 2:1. God quickened your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. You are a his piece of work —  "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" Ephesians 2:8-9. You are his workmanship, handiwork and artisanship!

He created you again "in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" Ephesians 2:10. These good works you now do, is the reason you were brought again to life. Romans 6:18 says, "Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness," that "ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life" Romans 6:22.

You became the servants of righteousness, God’s own vessels or his temple, "And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit" Ephesians 2:20-22.

See from the above scripture as you fellowship with those of your own kind how you ought to grow in holiness and become a habitation of God.
God bless,
Laurence

The office of a bishop!

"A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach." 1 Timothy 3:2
You got to tick all the boxes to be a bishop, not to tick tick the only one box that suits you most, but all. It‘s not enough only to be able to teach whilst you fail on the other aspects. A bishop must be blameless and beyond reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine, not a bully, but gentle, considerate, and free from the love of money. Now consider also your leader, if he/she can teach, but falls short on the other characteristics then you should know you’re both liable to falling into the devil’s trap. How will he/she take care of the church of God while ethically wrong?
Paul says, "These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, …

Who are you following?

Each and every one of us will follow someone, however the person you follow will either lead you to fulfil your potential or will lead you to the wrong place.
Who are you following? A deaf-blind leader always lead someone into a ditch. Paul said, "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour." Ephesians 5:1-2
He reminds us of who to follow and that person is none other than God himself who’s to lead you until you encounter his purpose and will.
Following God will lead you to a new birth with Jesus, and life in the spirit. You never go wrong with his plan. But if you follow people they’ll lead you to all uncleanness; idolatry, covetousness and fornication. "For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope..."Romans 8:20.

"Be not ye therefore partakers …

Christ in you the hope of glory!

God created all things by Jesus Christ, "In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him" Ephesians 3:12
Faith, not your own, but that we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him, Jesus Christ our Lord.
By the faith of him, "the dispensation of the grace of God", was given to us also. Paul says, "by revelation he made known unto me the mystery...Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed...by the Spirit." Ephesians 3:3-5. The revelation is unique my friend.
He wrote also saying, "Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ." Ephesians 3:8-9. We don’t just fellowship anyway anyway but we’re enlightened, an…
