In him we’ve this hope!

"Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord" Zechariah 2:10. Sing and rejoice; for the Lord has chosen you again. He has chosen you to be his portion and Holy habitation. He says, "lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord." For I, saith the Lord, will be ... a wall of fire round about you, and will be the glory amidst you! "...he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye" Zechariah 2:8. What is pastor saying? I’m saying have hope; "And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure" 1 John 3:3. God bless, Laurence - Simple Gospel Summation

Son of man, seest thou what they do?

There are many abominable things, done purposely by some believers while in Church to provoke God. God says to Ezekiel, "Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary?" Ezekiel 8:6. Worse things are done at night, in the cover of darkness. He said, "Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth." Ezekiel 8:12  They do these things intentionally, knowing God will be provoked to leave them alone and that exactly what they want to achieve -  to be left alone. God asked Ezekiel, "Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger:

Hope and quietly wait for the Lord!

Good morning my friend, it’s Sunday morning, a day many of us will stand in the house of the Lord.   Yes, "The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord" Lamentations 3:25-26. When that you see around you is continual affliction and darkness; continue also to hope and quietly wait for the Lord’s salvation.  Jesus said, "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." Matthew 24:21-22 Today my prayer for you is those days be shortened, my that season where you see nothing but affliction even from God's wrath be shortened for you too. Whether or not you think God is the source of that tribulation, pain and affliction -

Do you now believe?

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" John 16:33. In the world you shall have tribulation, but let not your heart be troubled, be of good cheer, trust and believe in God. "For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God" John 16:27.   If you’re a true believer Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy" John 16:20. Do not be anxious about your life, about the many troubles and trials to test you. They’re a nuisance of course but remember He’s made it easy for us to relate with the Father, breaking all barriers between us and God. He [Jesus] came for this one reason, to destroy the works of the devil, and to give us direct access to the

Do you understand what I have done to you?

"I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you" John 13:15. Yes, Jesus laid down a pattern for us, to do about everything, and to make others ‘Holy’ the same way he taught us. He said now you’re clean, but not each one of you. Again he said, "Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet" John 13:13-14. Here was his example; he loved his own to the end. he washed his disciples' feet, and wiped them with the towel wherewith he was girded. Doesn’t this remind you of the good Samaritan? He saw the man, and "he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him" Luke 10:33-34. God expects us to do exactly that, to take care of others. He said, “I have given you an example, that ye s

The Holy Ghost - he’ll guide you!

"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you." John 16:12-14 KJV The Holy Ghost has an impact of many aspects of our everyday life. He looks into your life, past, present and future; gather intelligence or looks for patterns and correlations which he turns to your advantage. He makes you make better decisions and then direct you to act on those insights, guiding you into all truth. The Holy Spirit helps you answer some of these questions; "who am I?", ”What should I be doing?", "Why am I not doing it right?", and "What will happen if I do A or B?". You will be at peace because he will show you things to come! The purpo

The Last days!

THIS KNOW ALSO that in the LAST DAYS perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, PROUD, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, UNHOLY, Without natural affection, TRUCEBREAKERS, false accusers, incontinent, FIERCE, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, LOVERS OF PLEASURES more than lovers of God; HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV These are the last days, dangerous times they are, and hard to bear. "Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived" 2 Timothy 3:13. These evil men and seducers are none other than those prophets of ours, men who love only themselves, and this is true of many false prophets and false teachers out there. You hear them teach on prosperity, but don’t be fooled, it’s all about themselves living pretty and sending their children to best schools, even abroad. Relate

A crown of righteousness!

"Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:8 KJV At that day, on that great day of his return, when he appears to set up his Kingdom, one thing will stand out for the believers - a crown of righteousness! This crown of righteousness is readymade for all those who love his appearing; who preach the word; who "reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine" 2 Timothy 4:2. Let me again tell you who this crown of righteousness is not for; it’s not for those who turn away their ears from the truth, not for you if you’ve instead turned unto fables. Woe to all those who do not endure sound doctrine. Paul says, this crown of righteousness is laid up for me because, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4:7. He made full

What kind of vessel are you?

"But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour." 2 Timothy 2:20 KJV In verse 7 Paul says, "Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things."  The reason why we hear this word is so that we may be able to teach others also. All of us, including yourself, we are all teachers of the word.  God wants you to be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, so that you may also become a witness of his.  Understand this also, we labour in the gospel and endure all things so that you may obtain and pass on to others that same salvation and honour and eternal glory which is in Christ Jesus. Paul says charge them to not subvert hearers, but that they teach the true foundations of God, which is sound doctrine. "But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness" There are people who have erred fr

All my cares, griefs and sorrows!

" ...I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him..." 2 Timothy 1:12 I have committed to him my soul, and him in exchange, his word. When you receive his word, it is it that grows in you, developing and transforming itself in you into unfeigned faith. Remember, faith comes by hearing the word of God. "For the word of God is quick, and powerful..." Hebrews 4:12.  May The Lord grant you mercy that you may know how you can hold fast to sound doctrine in faith and love. The word of God, and only God’s word is, "that good thing which was committed unto thee to keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us."  2 Timothy 1:14.  Keep it, hold fast on it! It is God’s greatest gift  for you, and 2 Timothy 1:6 says, "Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee..." God's gift does not want you to be afraid of people, but to be wi

Are you regularly saying no?

How to say No! Jesus said, " But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil " Matthew 5:37. But the question is do Christians know how to say no? In life we’re presented with more demands than we can ever meet and still be effective. And yet, for many, saying no is really hard, no matter how unreasonable the request may be. If you want to be successful you’re going to have to get comfortable with saying “no” from time to time. Saying no shouldn’t be seen as being rude; it’s being strategic. Declining in a smart way shows your assertiveness as a believer. Successful people recognise that their time is their most valuable commodity so here are some things to consider next time you want to say no to someone: The Direct No – when someone asks you to do something that you don’t want to do, just say ‘no’. The aim is to say no without apologising. Don’t apologise unnecessarily – remember your rights, y
