Son of man, seest thou what they do?

There are many abominable things, done purposely by some believers while in Church to provoke God.

God says to Ezekiel, "Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary?" Ezekiel 8:6.

Worse things are done at night, in the cover of darkness. He said, "Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth." Ezekiel 8:12

They do these things intentionally, knowing God will be provoked to leave them alone and that exactly what they want to achieve -  to be left alone. God asked Ezekiel, "Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose" Ezekiel 8:17.

Abominations are atrocities, is to do wrong with purpose, and is true false prophets, they wilfully and intentionally push God, holiness, godliness and righteousness away from the Church.

Four abominable things that are deliberately done to provoke God;

1. Idolatry

The seat of the image of jealousy, idols. We know they provoke God but  they are intentionally put in everyone’s eyes to see. Whoever does it know it angers God to see them. Ezekiel said the Spirit lifted me to see that curious arts are done in church.

2. Curious Arts

Servants of God are worshiping pictures; every man in the chambers of his imagery.

3. Fertility gods

"He took me to the entrance at the north gate of the Temple of GOD. I saw women sitting there, weeping for Tammuz, the Babylonian fertility god. He said, "Have you gotten an eyeful, son of man? You're going to see worse yet." Ezekiel 8:14-15

4. Strange religions

Many believers have their backs on God, but what is worse is they have turned to weird, strange and outrageous beliefs also.  They are in church by day but  in the cover of darkness "with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east" Ezekiel 8:16.

God bless,

The office of a bishop!

"A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach." 1 Timothy 3:2
You got to tick all the boxes to be a bishop, not to tick tick the only one box that suits you most, but all. It‘s not enough only to be able to teach whilst you fail on the other aspects. A bishop must be blameless and beyond reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine, not a bully, but gentle, considerate, and free from the love of money. Now consider also your leader, if he/she can teach, but falls short on the other characteristics then you should know you’re both liable to falling into the devil’s trap. How will he/she take care of the church of God while ethically wrong?
Paul says, "These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, …

Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus!

"For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end" 2 Corinthians 1:13.
What is it that you read about and acknowledge?
When you read your Bible, all you see is grace of God, you see his promises too.
Two promises stand out; that of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is for us the grace of God and, ”all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us" 2 Corinthians 1:20.The Holy Ghost. Paul says, He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; "Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts" 2 Corinthians 1:21-22.

When you read your Bible, don’t be distracted from seeing both these two promises, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.  I trust ye shall be able to acknowledge their presence in your life and significance even to the end of your journey here on Earth.
"For if these things be in you,…

Who are you following?

Each and every one of us will follow someone, however the person you follow will either lead you to fulfil your potential or will lead you to the wrong place.
Who are you following? A deaf-blind leader always lead someone into a ditch. Paul said, "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour." Ephesians 5:1-2
He reminds us of who to follow and that person is none other than God himself who’s to lead you until you encounter his purpose and will.
Following God will lead you to a new birth with Jesus, and life in the spirit. You never go wrong with his plan. But if you follow people they’ll lead you to all uncleanness; idolatry, covetousness and fornication. "For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope..."Romans 8:20.

"Be not ye therefore partakers …
