The Day of the Lord!

The Lord shall arise and shake terribly the earth.
His fear shall be upon all when his glory shall suddenly arise;
"And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day, Isaiah 2:17.

WHAT ELSE WILL BE MADE LOW IN THAT DAY?

Idolaters of course, they shall be humbled; the proud and haughty, all the mighty, every high tower, mountain and hill together. Meaning all the glory of mankind and their pride will altogether bow low.
The Lord will stand up from his throne to shake up the earth, his enemies will crawl with fear because of the glory of his majesty.
He says to John,

"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be" Revelation 22:12.
And the true worshipper of God says come Lord, come!

YOUR LEADERS MISLEAD YOU.

"As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths" Isaiah 3:12.

Our dilemma has been more so because of our leaders who are blind guides. They’ve mislead us and caused us to err, bringing these disasters on us.
Our spiritual leaders are equally liable because for greed they have spoken and acted against the LORD, defying his glorious presence. They confused the direction of our paths. "The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses" Isaiah 3:14. That’s all they’ve ever done, mislead us - for material gain they’ve plundered/devastated the vineyard.
The Lord asks,
"Why do you crush my people and grind the faces of the poor?"
Why? Why have you defied his glorious presence? Woe to them, for by teaching lies, they have brought disaster on his vineyard.
Woe to the wicked servants - it will go badly for them too, for what they have done will be done to them also.
False prophets are no good in your life. They’re blind guides;
"O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths."
God bless,
Laurence

Called to be sons!

We’ve all been called to preach, to proclaim or tell the Good News of the Kingdom of God. He won’t change His mind about what He has called us to do, to go tell unbelievers that there is God. So let’s all obey God and answer the call to preach and  help people get saved.
We have to be faithful, obedient, and patient in order to fulfil God’s call. God may temporarily lead you to do something. That doesn’t mean the gift is gone or that the calling has disappeared, because the gifts and callings of God are without repentance. In other words, God doesn’t change His mind!
According to 1 Corinthians 12:27, you and I are the Body of Christ and members in particular. Each member has a role to play in the Body, and yourself my friend must know what God has called and gifted you to do.
You may not have heeded or discovered God’s call on your life in the past, but that call is still there my friend. The gifts and callings of God are without repentance! Make a decision today to stir up the gift with…

One hope of our calling

Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied, Jude 1:1-2 KJV.
The Apostle wants you to know that you’ve been sanctified, preserved and called. He says, "mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied" if you have this knowledge.
In verse 3 he says it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Why he’s writing is because "certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ" Jude 1:4. These evil men were teaching otherwise, like is the situation these days, that some think only a few have been called, anointed, or chosen to preach, but our salvation is a common salvati…

Passover Preparations Preparatory events!

After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death. But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people. Mark 14:1-2.
Passover, or the feast of the passover was or is observed to remember Israel’s deliverance, and the feast of Unleavened Bread their quick departure from Egypt.
This chapter deals with Passover preparations preparatory events;
The chief priests and the scribes were seeking a way to seize Jesus and kill Him. Recent events and intense debates convinced them Jesus must be killed. They thought the most fitting time would not be during the festival for huge crowds, including many Galileans, would provoke unwanted riots.On the other hand Jesus and his disciples are also preparing. Jesus ate in the home of Simon the leper, and while there Mary anoints Jesus with expensive oil. She poured the contents over Jesus’ head. Some disciples led by…
