Grant, O Lord, thy protection!

Simple gospel summation
Reverend LC Muzembi
May the Lord keep you safe. May he  shelter, cover, shield and defend you from harm all through your life. May you visibly see that he is doing so, not hearsay. Don’t even guess, but know for children who are under the protection of their parents don't even guess, but they know that their parents are keeping them safe.

"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" How Luke 11:13. He's already given you the Holy spirit.

"How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" Hebrews 9:14. There's protection for you in the blood of Jesus.

"If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?" Luke 12:28. He will cover you also.

How much more shall be your fullness; your protection, life, joy and peace and goodwill? Your Father in heaven will give you good things. He will take revenge for you also.

Be wary of those bent on giving you a false sense of peace. Jesus said, "The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep" John 10:13. You will know them by their fruits. He said, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep" John 10:10-11. You will  certainly know false teachers by their fruits, by and by they will steal from you, destroy your livelihood or kill you.

What's Jesus giving you here? Life in abundance, not only so,;but is your good shepherd also - he gives his life to the sheep. He defends, protects, shields, guards and safeguards you entirely; and he keeps you secure away from danger, against any form of attack. He’s your defender, meaning he wards off your actual fears, and gives you peace. Grant, O Lord, thy protection and in protection, strength.

Blessed are the people whose God is Yahweh; for if you trust him, He will rise up early and help you, and be your protection.

May he surround you daily, so you will not fear whatever might come against you. Put your trust  in him, God, and give thanks to him for his love, mercy, faithfulness, goodness and protection. In Jesus' name, Amen.

God bless,
Laurence

The mystery of the kingdom of God

And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them, Mark 4:11-12 KJV.
The secret of the kingdom of God is given to you who look and perceive, listen and understand, you such as have teachable hearts which can easily be converted towards the way of salvation.
But the unbelievers are not so, they’re spiritually blind, they see, but perceive not; they hear but do not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. Many is  because, instead of responding to the gospel in faith, they were rejecting it, and are such as would not receive further truth.
Now listen my friend, Jesus said, "If anyone has ears to hear, let him listen." And he said to them, "Pay at…

You need deliverance?

Jesus and his disciples arrived in the country of the Gerasenes,
And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him, Mark 5:2-4.
His demonic strength kept anyone from being able to bind or team him, but by night and day his screams were heard as he slit himself with stones.
But upon seeing Jesus the man bowed down before him and the demon cried out, "What do you have to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you before God, don't torment me!" For Jesus had been saying to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!”
Jesus asked the demon his name. My name is Legion; for we are many, he replied. The demon continued begging Jesus not to send them…

They were offended at him!

But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house, Mark 6:4 KJV.
Jesus came to Nazareth, His hometown, accompanied by His disciples. On the Sabbath he was asked to speak in the synagogue and those who listened were astonished, marveling at His wisdom and wondering about its source. They also wondered about the miracles He was performing.
"Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him, Mark 6:3.
He came to his country, to his own people in order to bless them, but marvelled because of their unbelief, and that prevented him from doing a miracle there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them, but instead "he went round about the villages, teaching" Mark 6:6.
Why couldn’t he do anymore miracles there? It’s because they scrutinised him, judged him, and cr…
