He said, "this I know; for God is for me." It’s all in the book! Deuteronomy 20:1 says, "When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt."
Be not afraid: the Lord thy God is with thee! "Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked" Psalm 91:5 - 8
Be not afraid, of evil tidings, of bad dreams or sudden fear, because the Lord thy God is with you.
Establish your heart my friend, and stay fixed, trusting in the Lord. Isaiah 12:2 says, "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation." Hallelujah!
Why should you trust God? Because He promised to save you! He says, "And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house" Ezekiel 2:6. He is your shield and buckler.
I will not be afraid, am fully persuaded in Jesus’s name that, what he promised, he is able also to perform. Blessed are the people whose God is Yahweh. Watch though, that you’re "perfect with the Lord thy God" Deuteronomy 18:13. That it’s him you say you serve.
Say, I am not afraid!
