As newborn babes, grow!

Have a desire to grow; if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

"Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious" 1 Peter 2:1-3.

Right from where you are born again,  it is God’s word only, that’s able to make you grow and develop spiritually, all other methods/ways are hypocrisies, guile and evil speakings.

Paul says in Galatians 1:3, "Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ." It’s grace that exposes you to sound doctrine, or right people and to identifiable stages during that time you grow. Grace is presented for so you to know what to expect as you grow, develop and mature. You have your own grace because believers vary in the speed with which they reach every  milestone.

Grace be to you, and peace; during this period, when you need mature, your growth is important, it has to be very rapid, in-order that you may gain control over your faith.

God bless,

Sit down, Martha!

The story of Martha and Mary tells us that there are two types of Christians out there; where one is a worshipper and another is a waitperson or server. You can choose what you want to be, that’s to be a worshipper or server. But listen to this before you do;"Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."" Luke 10:38-42.Mary chose the best part, to sit down at his feet and not be worried, frustrated, confused and troubled ab…

Spirits are subject to you!

In Luke 10, Jesus sends seventy others, two by two into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.He said to them go your way; "And heal the sick there, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'’ Luke 10:9 They came back thrilled and excited. This is the same experience we should have when we give out the Word of God, and when we pray for the sick and heal them. How glorious we feel also when more labourers are come into His harvest!Luke said, "the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name." And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven." Luke 10:17-20.Satan’s new home is t…

The sign of Jonah

And while the crowds were thickly gathered together, He began to say, "This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet, Luke 11:29 NKJV.Jesus looked at our generation and concluded; This is an evil generation. A profoundly immoral and wicked generation; very ungodly, sinful, corrupt, demonic and shocking because it seeks a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet. It seeks a sign, meaning that they thought what Jesus was doing was funfair, circus or some form of joke or entertainment. It’s a generation that never took the things of God serious for themselves."Others, testing Him, sought from Him a sign from heaven" Luke 11:16. They cross-examined Him about many things, but He said no sign will be given to [this generation] except the sign of Jonah the prophet.Paul bemoaned how the Corinthians sought for proof of Christ speaking in him. He said, "I pray to God that you…
