The Lord said, I’ll not again!

Whoever tells you Coronavirus is an act of God, God has not sent him.

Here is why I choose to differ;
"And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done" Genesis 8:21 KJV
We hear of diseases in the Bible, some similar or worse than Coronavirus folks, but we don’t hear that believers blamed any of it on God, none among them said God is cleansing the earth, and why should we? Jesus "healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak..." Mark 1:34.
Diseases in the bible were not just afflictions, leprosies or disabilities, but some were more serious viruses, infections, ailments, pestilences, plagues and cancers, and to make matters worse there wasn’t any cure for expect to wait on God. With Coronavirus, we’re hopeful, but our ancestors were not. No wonder Jehoshaphat cried, in our vulnerability we depend on God.
Do not despair folks! 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
This will soon be over!
"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" 3 John 1:2.

God bless,
Laurence

The gospel of Christ!

The gospel of God, is that which pertains to His Son Jesus Christ, through him we have received grace and apostleship, to bring about the obedience of faith to all.

Our service is rendered to God, whom we serve by our spirits telling the good news about his Son.

Preaching the gospel is all manner of witnessing and imparting spiritual gifts on God’s people, the believers, the called of Jesus Christ, who are called to be saints. That method of believing is called faith, and mutual faith when we together believe.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith" Romans 1:16-17.

The gospel of God is that which concerns His Son. God can be known only through the gospel of Christ, and that which may be known of God has now been made manifest in us; for God r…

Partakers of Christ's sufferings!

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy" 1 Peter 4:12-13

It is no shame to suffer for being a Christian, instead it is a privilege, folks. For "if ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye ; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified" 1 Peter 4:14.

Suffer according to God's will, not "as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters" 1 Peter 4:15.  But do what is right folks, and trust yourself to God who made you, for he will never fail you.

"The end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: …

Melchizedek

Melchizedek was king of the city of Salem and also a priest of the Most High God. His name means King of Justice, King of righteousness and King of peace.

Life story

Melchizedek had no father or mother and there is no record of any of his ancestors. He was never born and he never died but his life is like that of the Son of God - a priest forever. We learn from his life story that a priest’s other job is to bless those who have promises, (ref: Hebrews 7:6). Have we got any promise? Yes loads, and among others we’ve the promise of salvation.

Anyway, I said Melchizedek’s life is like that of the Son of God - a priest forever.  After the Levitical priesthood God sends a new kind of priest, and we can plainly see that God's method changed, for Christ, the new High Priest who came with the rank of Melchizedek, as we all know, Christ did not belong to the priest-tribe of Levi, but came from the tribe of Judah, which had not been chosen for priesthood; Moses had never given them that wo…
