This gospel of the kingdom!

The disciples came privately to Jesus and said, "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?" Matthew 24:3.

Famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, and nation rising against nation, are a beginning of sorrows, but it does not mean the end is come.

One big sign of the end in scripture is that iniquity shall abound; it’s because many false prophets shall arise to deceive many, and worse off we "shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place" Matthew 24:15. And there shall be great tribulation. This of course will trigger his return. Isaiah 54:7 says, ”For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee." The days shall be shortened.

But then Jesus said, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come" Matthew 24:14. Jesus said, "See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down" Matthew 24:2.

My friend, this gospel of the kingdom and the name of Christ still hasn’t been preached to all for a witness. "Even so, come, Lord Jesus" Revelation 22:20, just as you promised saying, "Surely I come quickly. Amen."

However, don’t be deceived; false prophets have not preached to us the real gospel, the real Christ, why so? Because they don’t know the true Christ and are neither his. They’ve preached to us another gospel and another Christ. Gospel means good-news, not this scaremongering, even prosperity gospel claimed by these false prophets.

Jesus said, "this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations." Jesus said, "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" Matthew 24:23-24. Many false prophets and false teachers rush on  to say, "Lo, here is Christ." Even in some platforms people are quick to say, Lo, here is Christ, or there, but believe it not. I know people are hungry for God, but don’t believe everything folks. He said, "Behold, I have told you before...For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together" Matthew 24:25,28.

Summer is nigh folks, the day is far spent, fulfil prophecy in the right way, not by wrong means. Are you a prophet? Prophesy good news of the kingdom of God, You preach? Preach the good-news, do not deceive, but become a cloud of witness.

Tell us, when shall these things be?

Soon, but He comes when you’re not ready, and "Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing" Matthew 24:46. Doing what? Bearing witness!

God bless,
Laurence - Simple Gospel Summation.

The gospel of Christ!

The gospel of God, is that which pertains to His Son Jesus Christ, through him we have received grace and apostleship, to bring about the obedience of faith to all.

Our service is rendered to God, whom we serve by our spirits telling the good news about his Son.

Preaching the gospel is all manner of witnessing and imparting spiritual gifts on God’s people, the believers, the called of Jesus Christ, who are called to be saints. That method of believing is called faith, and mutual faith when we together believe.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith" Romans 1:16-17.

The gospel of God is that which concerns His Son. God can be known only through the gospel of Christ, and that which may be known of God has now been made manifest in us; for God r…

Partakers of Christ's sufferings!

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy" 1 Peter 4:12-13

It is no shame to suffer for being a Christian, instead it is a privilege, folks. For "if ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye ; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified" 1 Peter 4:14.

Suffer according to God's will, not "as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters" 1 Peter 4:15.  But do what is right folks, and trust yourself to God who made you, for he will never fail you.

"The end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: …

Melchizedek was king of the city of Salem and also a priest of the Most High God. His name means King of Justice, King of righteousness and King of peace.

Life story

Melchizedek had no father or mother and there is no record of any of his ancestors. He was never born and he never died but his life is like that of the Son of God - a priest forever. We learn from his life story that a priest’s other job is to bless those who have promises, (ref: Hebrews 7:6). Have we got any promise? Yes loads, and among others we’ve the promise of salvation.

Anyway, I said Melchizedek’s life is like that of the Son of God - a priest forever.  After the Levitical priesthood God sends a new kind of priest, and we can plainly see that God's method changed, for Christ, the new High Priest who came with the rank of Melchizedek, as we all know, Christ did not belong to the priest-tribe of Levi, but came from the tribe of Judah, which had not been chosen for priesthood; Moses had never given them that wo…
