Approve things that are excellent

Simple Gospel Summation
Reverend Muzembi
"And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God" Philippians 1:9-11 KJV.

My prayer for you my friend is that you may grow more in spiritual insight, and in knowledge and in all judgment. I want you always to approve things that are excellent, and that you be sincere and without offence till the Lord returns, for this will bring glory and praise to God.

Grow more in spiritual insight, that everything happening around you isn’t  "as though some strange thing happened unto you" 1 Peter 4:12. But whether you’re in need, bonds, trials, persecutions, or is life or death; remember your life is now "set for the defence of the gospel" Philippians 1:17. Paul said, "For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake" Philippians 1:29. We are in this fight together, and so the struggle is on whether it’s by life or death. Paul says, the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me, "according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you. And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith, that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming to you again" Philippians 1:20-26.

To live is Christ, "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ" Philippians 1:27. Be good stewards of the manifold grace of God, and be filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

God bless,
Laurence

Grant, O Lord, thy protection!

Reverend LC Muzembi May the Lord keep you safe. May he  shelter, cover, shield and defend you from harm all through your life. May you visibly see that he is doing so, not hearsay. Don’t even guess, but know for children who are under the protection of their parents don't even guess, but they know that their parents are keeping them safe. " If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? " How Luke 11:13. He's already given you the Holy spirit. " How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? " Hebrews 9:14. There's protection for you in the blood of Jesus. " If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little fait

Is the day of Christ at hand?

Jesus is coming back soon, but before Christ is come, a falling away is first. "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition" 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2. It is obvious that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon, and that we all shall be gathered together to him, but he shall come on a day we not aware of. May the Lord please direct your heart "into the love of God, and into the patiently waiting for Christ." Waiting doesn’t mean you should stop your day to day work. Paul said, "Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that

Experience God's peace!

Reverend LC Muzembi  "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" Philippians 4:8 KJV Yes my friend, stay true to the Lord, remember he is coming soon. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, and it’s peace which will keep you through this journey.  The Lord said, " Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you " John 14:27. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. And the Apostle said, " Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you " Philippians 4:9. In short, read your bible, study it through, receive its truths with open heart or the hearing of faith, acknowledge
