Develop relationships!

Simple Gospel Summation
Hi my friend, today I just want to say develop relationships. Build a rapport with the people of God, and relationships have to be continuous, and lives should improve as a result of the friendship.
"Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life" Jude 1:21

Make others feel valued; listen and communicate with them. Understand their needs, be respectful, honest and supportive. Hold conversations at the appropriate time and place, understanding the value of regular, reliable contact and recognising that it takes time to build a relationship.

Jesus said, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another" John 13:34. He loved us to the end!

God bless,
Laurence

Sit down, Martha!

The story of Martha and Mary tells us that there are two types of Christians out there; where one is a worshipper and another is a waitperson or server. You can choose what you want to be, that’s to be a worshipper or server. But listen to this before you do;"Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."" Luke 10:38-42.Mary chose the best part, to sit down at his feet and not be worried, frustrated, confused and troubled ab…

Your fellowship in the gospel

As we fellowship with each other as believers, remember that our fellowship is only in the gospel. We love the brotherhood with the affection of Jesus Christ only, nothing more.Apostle Paul says, "And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God," Philippians 1:9-11.So, as you fellowship with other believers, always remember that your job as a Christian is to ensure the progress of others and joy of faith, and to defend the gospel. The Apostle says, "Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so...that you may stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel." Philippians 1:27.Be like-minded; help each other, work together with one heart, be warm-h…

The Lord’s Supper - Do this in remembrance of Me

Jesus prepared for the passover with his disciples, and then "He said to them, "With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God." Luke 22:15-16He would no longer eat of it because He’s the Fulfilment of the Passover. The Passover lamb was prepared/ killed a day before The Passover Feast, a day Jews commemorate their deliverance from slavery in Egypt. On Passover, Jews also celebrate the birth of the Jewish nation after being freed by God from captivity.Jesus is the fulfilment of the Passover. He is the Lamb of God, sacrificed to set us free from bondage to sin (John 1:29; Psalm 22; Isaiah 53). The blood of Jesus covers and protects us, and his body was broken to free us from eternal death (1 Corinthians 5:7).In the Jewish tradition, a hymn of praise known as the Hallel is sung during the Passover Seder. In it is Psalm 118:22, speaking of the Messiah:…
