Experience God's peace!

Simple Gospel Summation
Reverend LC Muzembi
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" Philippians 4:8 KJV

Yes my friend, stay true to the Lord, remember he is coming soon. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, and it’s peace which will keep you through this journey.  The Lord said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you" John 14:27. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. And the Apostle said, "Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you" Philippians 4:9.

In short, read your bible, study it through, receive its truths with open heart or the hearing of faith, acknowledge and practice what you’ve  read or heard. Fix your thoughts on what is true, good and right. Think about things that are pure, lovely, and dwell on the good things of other believers, learn to forgive, and  to be charitable. Do not only dwell on other people’s mistakes. But "let your moderation be known unto all men" Philippians 4:5.

And again I say be careful for nothing, but rejoice in the Lord always : and again I say, Rejoice.

If you do this, "my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen" Philippians 4:19-20.

God bless,
Laurence

Sit down, Martha!

The story of Martha and Mary tells us that there are two types of Christians out there; where one is a worshipper and another is a waitperson or server. You can choose what you want to be, that’s to be a worshipper or server. But listen to this before you do;"Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."" Luke 10:38-42.Mary chose the best part, to sit down at his feet and not be worried, frustrated, confused and troubled ab…

Spirits are subject to you!

In Luke 10, Jesus sends seventy others, two by two into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.He said to them go your way; "And heal the sick there, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'’ Luke 10:9 They came back thrilled and excited. This is the same experience we should have when we give out the Word of God, and when we pray for the sick and heal them. How glorious we feel also when more labourers are come into His harvest!Luke said, "the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name." And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven." Luke 10:17-20.Satan’s new home is t…

Who’s the greatest?

In the early verses of this chapter, Jesus calls together the 12 disciples and sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. "...and He gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases" Luke 9:1. So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. Afterwards, they returned happy, all amazed at the majesty of God. Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Let these words sink down into your ears, for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men." Luke 9:43-44. "Then a dispute arose among them as to which of them would be greatest. And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a little child and set him by Him, and said to them, "Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great." Luke 9:46-48.Then John interrupted, "Master, we saw someone casting out de…
