Experience God's peace!

Simple Gospel Summation
Reverend LC Muzembi
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" Philippians 4:8 KJV

Yes my friend, stay true to the Lord, remember he is coming soon. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, and it’s peace which will keep you through this journey.  The Lord said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you" John 14:27. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. And the Apostle said, "Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you" Philippians 4:9.

In short, read your bible, study it through, receive its truths with open heart or the hearing of faith, acknowledge and practice what you’ve  read or heard. Fix your thoughts on what is true, good and right. Think about things that are pure, lovely, and dwell on the good things of other believers, learn to forgive, and  to be charitable. Do not only dwell on other people’s mistakes. But "let your moderation be known unto all men" Philippians 4:5.

And again I say be careful for nothing, but rejoice in the Lord always : and again I say, Rejoice.

If you do this, "my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen" Philippians 4:19-20.

God bless,
Laurence

The Spectacles of Love

We know God through love, loving one another.  "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love," 1 John 4:8. "Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another," 1 John 4:11 Only love gives us the assurance we want, that we know him, we have no fear, but boldness on the day of judgment. But love  aught to have been perfected among us to see us through. He who claims he knows God must first wear his spectacles of love, “And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him,” 1 John 4:16.  Jesus said it’s a new commandment, and you as a believer should realise how important it is to love, to love your brother also. One can’t see as they should without the spectacles of love. Who is a liar? One whose speech is cheap, measly and worthless; who says I love God, yet hates his brother or sister, that kind of love or faith is substandard, is below what is required. There is yet

The Wedding at Cana

This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him, John 2:11 KJV. The first time Jesus performed a miracle (revealed his glory) was at a wedding in Cana. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the celebration. Wine ran out, and Jesus' mother told him, " They have no more wine ." She went to him anticipating a miracle, and Jesus said, " Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come " John 2:4. But she tells the servants anyway, " Whatever He says to you, do it ."  This you should also know my friend, tell him your need anyway, and " Do whatever he tells you ." But be fully aware of the divine timing also. The timing by which waters are stirred up or the spirit moves is set by the Father. Jesus said to them, " Fill the waterpots with water. " And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, " Dr

Jesus is Rejected at Nazareth!

Then Jesus left the wilderness of Judea, where Satan tempted him for forty days, and " returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all. So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. " Luke 4:14-16 NKJV. Before, full of the Holy Spirit, he spent forty days in the wilderness being tempted by the devil, and now he returns to Galilee, in the power of the Spirit to begin his ministry. He taught in other synagogues, being glorified by all, but here in Nazareth, where He was brought up, is rejected. They handed to him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: " The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To
