The obedience of faith!

Simple Gospel Summation
Reverend LC Muzembi
" Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation about Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept silent for long ages but now revealed and made known through the prophetic Scriptures, according to the command of the eternal God to advance the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles - to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ-to him be the glory forever! Amen" Romans 16:25-27 CSB.

My friend, I know God is able to strengthen you  through these articles of mine. The preaching of Christ is so that you may have faith in him and as you obey him, you will be established, as you grow through his word.

God wants to establish you through scripture, and  reward you for your obedience of faith. But first, He must bring  into captivity your thoughts to the obedience of Christ; that you have “a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled" 2 Corinthians 10:5-6.

Obedience, i.e.  Your faith in him is it that shows you’re ready to revenge all disobedience.

Hebrews 11:2 says, For by it [faith] the elders obtained a good report, and we see in Romans 16 how others believed and it was counted unto them for righteousness.

  • Phoebe made herself useful in the church she belonged, she helped many who believed, and the man of God, vs 1-2.
  • Priscilla and Aquila availed themselves to all the churches, not only to the one in their house, but they were coworkers in the ministry of Christ, they risked even their own lives, Romans 16:3-5
  • Mary, the Apostle said she worked so hard to our benefit., vs 6. And some were genuine, like good friends, and hard working.

But "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple" Romans 16:17-18

Stay away from those who cause divisions, whose aim is to destroy other people's faith, teaching things about Christ that are contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from Balaams, Judas Iscariots, and Demas who’re evil workers.

"And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen" Romans 16:20.

Always remember, God will strengthen you, not by your own effort, but by his spirit which works in you through the prophetic Scriptures, according to the command of the eternal God to advance the obedience of faith to you.

God bless,
Laurence

The mystery of the kingdom of God

And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them, Mark 4:11-12 KJV.
The secret of the kingdom of God is given to you who look and perceive, listen and understand, you such as have teachable hearts which can easily be converted towards the way of salvation.
But the unbelievers are not so, they’re spiritually blind, they see, but perceive not; they hear but do not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. Many is  because, instead of responding to the gospel in faith, they were rejecting it, and are such as would not receive further truth.
Now listen my friend, Jesus said, "If anyone has ears to hear, let him listen." And he said to them, "Pay at…

You need deliverance?

Jesus and his disciples arrived in the country of the Gerasenes,
And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him, Mark 5:2-4.
His demonic strength kept anyone from being able to bind or team him, but by night and day his screams were heard as he slit himself with stones.
But upon seeing Jesus the man bowed down before him and the demon cried out, "What do you have to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you before God, don't torment me!" For Jesus had been saying to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!”
Jesus asked the demon his name. My name is Legion; for we are many, he replied. The demon continued begging Jesus not to send them…

They were offended at him!

But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house, Mark 6:4 KJV.
Jesus came to Nazareth, His hometown, accompanied by His disciples. On the Sabbath he was asked to speak in the synagogue and those who listened were astonished, marveling at His wisdom and wondering about its source. They also wondered about the miracles He was performing.
"Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him, Mark 6:3.
He came to his country, to his own people in order to bless them, but marvelled because of their unbelief, and that prevented him from doing a miracle there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them, but instead "he went round about the villages, teaching" Mark 6:6.
Why couldn’t he do anymore miracles there? It’s because they scrutinised him, judged him, and cr…
