Walk by the same rule!

"Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) Philippians 3:17-19 KJV.

Some Christians don’t realize this, that it is not every man who says "God God" who has faith. You have to watch out, and you need to be able to notice those who live up to it for your good example.

1. Beware of evil workers

"Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation!" Philippians 3:2.

Many who walk along as Christians are really not what they profess, some are the enemies of the cross of Christ; men whose god is their belly, and proud of what they should be ashamed of; and all they think about is life here on earth. Watch out for those wicked men.

2. But, notice those who live as good examples.

"Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you" Philippians 3:15.

Take notice, my brethren, for an example those who "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" Philippians 3:14. Men who keep working, towards that day when we will finally be all that Christ saved us for, "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ" Philippians 3:20.

Prosperity is not our goal, but that our vile bodies be changed, and "be fashioned like unto his glorious body," yes that indeed is our goal. Do not have confidence in the flesh, but win Christ and become one with him, spirit, soul and body. Paul said, "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead" Philippians 3:9-11.

I never get tired of telling you this my friend, to walk by the same rule, it’s good for you to hear it again and again.

God bless,
Laurence

Sit down, Martha!

The story of Martha and Mary tells us that there are two types of Christians out there; where one is a worshipper and another is a waitperson or server. You can choose what you want to be, that’s to be a worshipper or server. But listen to this before you do; " Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. "" Luke 10:38-42. Mary chose the best part, to sit down at his feet and not be worried, frustrated, confused and troubl

What do you want to see in a 21st century church?

I wanna see the glory of the Lord come in the temple! Once again, that when I come in the temple, behold, the whole place "is most holy," Ezekiel 43:12, and the glory of the Lord is full in the Temple. I like this verse; “Seven days they shall make atonement for the altar and purify it, and so consecrate it. When these days are over it shall be, on the eighth day and thereafter, that the priests shall offer your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on the altar; and I will accept you,' says the Lord GOD,” Ezekiel 43:26-27. Now, "…make atonement for the altar and purify it, and so consecrate it…and I will accept you," says the Lord. There is a river, healing waters; "flowing from under the threshold of the temple," Ezekiel 47:1. "This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed. And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, wi

The people of Israel

The journey of the people of Israel is a fascinating story, and understanding it could possibly make your own life story too. It began when God called Abraham, and said to him, " Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee " Acts 7:3. He obeyed, and he left and lived in Haran, in a country they now call Israel. But God, gave him no " inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child " Acts 7:5. So, God promised that eventually the whole country would belong to him and his descendants, but these descendants of his would leave the land and live in a foreign country and there become slaves for 400 years. He said  I will punish the nation that enslaves them, and afterwards they will return to this land of Israel and worship me here. Later, Isaac was born, and Isaac had Jacob, and Jaco
