We can rejoice, too!

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God" Romans 5:1-2 KJV.

All because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us;
  • we have peace with God
  • we have access by faith
  • we glory in tribulations also
"And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement" Romans 5:11.

We joy, because through Jesus Christ, this grace of God and the gift of righteousness came also upon us, resulting in our justification.

"...we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand...."

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom grace is multiplied in our lives, to counter the profusion of sin, that, just as sin reigned in death, so also will grace reign, resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God’s love is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us, to guarantee our salvation, to keep this grace alive and "reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 5:21.

Walk in newness of life!

"I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness." Romans 6:19
  • yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness,
  • yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God, Romans 6:13
His benefits to you is you become a part of him, to include holiness and everlasting life.

"Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God" Romans 7:4.

What it means is, now you can really serve God; not in the old way, but in the new way, with all your heart and mind, you can now produce good fruit, that is, good deeds for God.

So you see how it is: the new life tells you to do right, Thank God! It has been done by Jesus Christ our Lord.

"So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you" Romans 8:8-11.

All who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God; they are controlled by their new nature if they have the Spirit of God living in them. Those who follow after the Holy Spirit find themselves doing those things that please God.
  • they walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit,
  • they that are after the Spirit mind the things of the Spirit.

"...we glory in tribulations also..."

"The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together" Romans 8:16-17

If we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

"And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body" Romans 8:23.

We Christians, although we have the Holy Spirit within us as a preview of future glory, yet we also groan to be released from pain and suffering. We, too, wait anxiously for that day when God will give us our full rights as his children, including the new bodies he has promised us- heavenly bodies that will never be sick again and will never die. But despite all our tribulations, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us.

Sit down, Martha!

The story of Martha and Mary tells us that there are two types of Christians out there; where one is a worshipper and another is a waitperson or server. You can choose what you want to be, that’s to be a worshipper or server. But listen to this before you do; " Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. "" Luke 10:38-42. Mary chose the best part, to sit down at his feet and not be worried, frustrated, confused and troubl

What do you want to see in a 21st century church?

I wanna see the glory of the Lord come in the temple! Once again, that when I come in the temple, behold, the whole place "is most holy," Ezekiel 43:12, and the glory of the Lord is full in the Temple. I like this verse; “Seven days they shall make atonement for the altar and purify it, and so consecrate it. When these days are over it shall be, on the eighth day and thereafter, that the priests shall offer your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on the altar; and I will accept you,' says the Lord GOD,” Ezekiel 43:26-27. Now, "…make atonement for the altar and purify it, and so consecrate it…and I will accept you," says the Lord. There is a river, healing waters; "flowing from under the threshold of the temple," Ezekiel 47:1. "This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed. And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, wi

The people of Israel

The journey of the people of Israel is a fascinating story, and understanding it could possibly make your own life story too. It began when God called Abraham, and said to him, " Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee " Acts 7:3. He obeyed, and he left and lived in Haran, in a country they now call Israel. But God, gave him no " inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child " Acts 7:5. So, God promised that eventually the whole country would belong to him and his descendants, but these descendants of his would leave the land and live in a foreign country and there become slaves for 400 years. He said  I will punish the nation that enslaves them, and afterwards they will return to this land of Israel and worship me here. Later, Isaac was born, and Isaac had Jacob, and Jaco
