Stewards of the mysteries of God!

Simple Gospel Summation
Reverend LC Muzembi
Now listen to me my friend;

"Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God" 1 Corinthians 4:1

What are we?

We are servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries or the wisdom of God, nothing more. We represent God.

I know people have revelations, there is nothing wrong with that at all, but let it not be "beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other" 1 Corinthians 4:6. "For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power" 1 Corinthians 4:20. Power as in the demonstration of the wisdom of God.

Learn from the Holy Spirit. We’re coworkers with him, but the Holy Spirit, his job is to lead us, and guide us into all truth, he does not present his own ideas, things we see happening among us who preach today, but the Holy Ghost only passes on to you what he has heard.

Let no man deceive himself, let no man glory in men either, and "Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost" John 20:21-22.

You house the Spirit of God folks,  so that he can help you serve God according to his will, and you, me and the Spirit of God are coworkers or stewards of the mysteries of God, we together complete the purposes of God. The Spirit of God, is there to remind us of what our ways are in Christ, that as we go about teaching others we may remain in truth, and doing so.

Paul said, "...brethren....learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another" for it’s soon, the Lord will come, "who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God" 1 Corinthians 4:5. None should be puffed up against the other, we are all servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

If you are on the contrary, he asked, "who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?" 1 Corinthians 4:7. What are you so puffed up about?

We’re just God’s servants, each of us with certain special abilities, and with our help people believe.

God bless,
Laurence

The Spectacles of Love

We know God through love, loving one another.  "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love," 1 John 4:8. "Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another," 1 John 4:11 Only love gives us the assurance we want, that we know him, we have no fear, but boldness on the day of judgment. But love  aught to have been perfected among us to see us through. He who claims he knows God must first wear his spectacles of love, “And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him,” 1 John 4:16.  Jesus said it’s a new commandment, and you as a believer should realise how important it is to love, to love your brother also. One can’t see as they should without the spectacles of love. Who is a liar? One whose speech is cheap, measly and worthless; who says I love God, yet hates his brother or sister, that kind of love or faith is substandard, is below what is required. There is yet

The Wedding at Cana

This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him, John 2:11 KJV. The first time Jesus performed a miracle (revealed his glory) was at a wedding in Cana. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the celebration. Wine ran out, and Jesus' mother told him, " They have no more wine ." She went to him anticipating a miracle, and Jesus said, " Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come " John 2:4. But she tells the servants anyway, " Whatever He says to you, do it ."  This you should also know my friend, tell him your need anyway, and " Do whatever he tells you ." But be fully aware of the divine timing also. The timing by which waters are stirred up or the spirit moves is set by the Father. Jesus said to them, " Fill the waterpots with water. " And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, " Dr

Jesus is Rejected at Nazareth!

Then Jesus left the wilderness of Judea, where Satan tempted him for forty days, and " returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all. So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. " Luke 4:14-16 NKJV. Before, full of the Holy Spirit, he spent forty days in the wilderness being tempted by the devil, and now he returns to Galilee, in the power of the Spirit to begin his ministry. He taught in other synagogues, being glorified by all, but here in Nazareth, where He was brought up, is rejected. They handed to him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: " The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To
