The glory of this light!

Reverend LC Muzembi
When you say you’re born again, it means you have received Christ, you are a Christian, and have been taught by someone, the word, and two things happened to you;  "repentance towards God, and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ" Acts 20:21.  You’ve turned to God through our Lord Jesus Christ, or Faith in Christ.

I was educated in this way under Andrew Wutawunashe, at whose feet I learned to follow our God very carefully. Since then I’ve been zealous towards God, as Paul says, just as everyone is trying to do.
It’s a journey to know God; how do you find it yourself?

As for me it came to pass, that, one day, I also saw this light. When the true light of God shines upon your darkness, you go blind on other things. Paul said, "I could not see for the glory of that light" Acts 22:11. He aborted his mission to persecute the believers.

The prophet Isaiah said, "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined" Isaiah 9:2.

This light should shine on you too my friend, it should shine up on your darkness, to make you see properly, and know, that you serve God as you should.

Paul says, "brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified" Acts 20:32.

Now, I help new believers and those growing in the Lord to believe God through this grace. And the word of his grace, releases  in you faith which causes you to obtain. It picks you out among many, it makes you render service according to God’s own will and ways, not your ways. He’s not God if we tell him what to do.

Knowing this is important, it builds you up, it makes you receive an inheritance among those sanctified.

I said I testify to all, two things;

  1. "repentance towards God, and
  2. faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ" Acts 20:21.

Faith in Christ is it which guides us, it justifies us before God, that we’re walking aright, and after this way, we worship God, and have hope towards God, the hope of resurrection, even the promise of eternal life.

We follow Christ; he’s the way to come to the father, we’ve access by him. Our Christian ethical behaviours are measured by him, he’s the standard bearer. We measure ourselves with him, and our standards shouldn’t be lower, but greater, he said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father" John 14:12.
He went on, and while there, he poured upon us the precious gift of the Holy Ghost, who we now work with. We are not alone in this business.

Ananias, said to Saul, "Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour [he said] I looked up upon him. And he said,
The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard" Acts 22:12-15.

Com’on my friend, receive your sight, receive the Holy Spirit also. The glory of that light shown on you so that you should operate in his will; a sign that he has chosen you, to know his will, that you see the Just One, and be his witness, of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come.

God bless,
Laurence

Sit down, Martha!

The story of Martha and Mary tells us that there are two types of Christians out there; where one is a worshipper and another is a waitperson or server. You can choose what you want to be, that’s to be a worshipper or server. But listen to this before you do; " Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. "" Luke 10:38-42. Mary chose the best part, to sit down at his feet and not be worried, frustrated, confused and troubl

Why is finding God so difficult?

God says, ‘Here I am’ My hands stretched all day long for you, but “... when I called, you did not answer; When I spoke, you did not hear, But did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight," Isaiah 65:12. He said you’ve walked in a way that is not good, i.e. according to you own thoughts. That’s why I "was found by those who did not seek Me." ‘Here I am!‘ The good thing with God is he reveals himself to you, but sadly we choose not to see, seek, listen nor to find him. To “find God” is an expression that can mean different things to different people. For some, is getting religion, whatever religion that may be. For others, to “find God” means to “clean up one’s life,” usually with his help. In any case, to “find God” involves a change in someone’s attitude and behaviour. Biblically speaking, to find God means to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus that anyone can come to God (John 14:6), and receiving Christ results in a

You are a chosen generation

Reverend Muzembi  " Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded " 1 Peter 2:6 KJV Christ, is very precious to God. He is a chief corner stone upon this spiritual house God is building. You’re precious to God too, and " as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ " 1 Peter 2:5. We’re priests, who offer to God those things that please him - you matter so much to God. Christ is precious to you who believe in God through him, for without him we can do nothing, all our royalty is because him, and to those who reject him still he’s  precious, that when iniquity abounds they may fall. But you are not like them, for  through Christ you have been chosen by God himself, you are God's very own - all this so that you may show to others how God called you o
