The weapons of our warfare are mighty through God, they are in the simplicity of Christ, in the fruit of the Spirit; "love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law" Galatians 5:22-23.
"If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities" 2 Corinthians 11:30. "So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer" 2 Thessalonians 1:4-5.
So he said I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities, "in journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness" 2 Corinthians 11:26-27. It’s in doing others service, abasing ourselves that they may be exalted.
"For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face" 2 Corinthians 11:20.
When you go through such trails, troubles, and tribulations for his name’ sake you’re engaging in a spiritual warfare.
"Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying" 2 Corinthians 12:19.
Beware of evil workers
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, "debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults" 2 Corinthians 12:20. These evil works are done by false apostles, deceitful workers, who transform "themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works" 2 Corinthians 11:13-15. How do they transform themselves? Simple, they put on sheepskin. That man of sin, the son of perdition comes deceiving so he can exalt "himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God" 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4. Paul warned us and said, be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Many of our preachers are such as have transformed themselves into angels of light - beware of evil workers.Rather glory about the things that show how weak you are, for when you’re weak then are you strong, and his grace sufficient for you. Without grace of God you’re nothing.
God bless,
Laurence
