This Jesus I preach is Christ!

And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ Acts 17:2-3 KJV

Remember, that Jesus once said, "many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many" Matthew 24:5. We all know that antichrist is the greatest deceiver,  and  that antichrist could be a person or a spirit opposing Christ. Apostle John said, "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time" 1 John 2:18.

How you able to tell Christ from Antichrist?

Christ is the Word;
Here Paul was able to prove it with the Scriptures; he reasoned with the people that, "this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ." He explained the prophecies and proved that the Messiah must suffer and rise from the dead. The other times he "was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ" Acts 18:5.

Antichrist, or the man of sin will just appear, but "Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God" 1 John 4:2. We have record of his lineage and birth, "the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham" Matthew 1:1. Make sure that the Christ in you is real, not a copy.

Christ who God brought back to life again, after he was killed by hanging on a cross, but then, with mighty power, God exalted him to be a Prince and Saviour, so that people would have an opportunity for repentance, and for their sins to be forgiven. "And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him" Acts 5:32. This is our light!

Now God has counted us worthy who have believed through grace to preach to the people this Christ; he is the way of God. He is shown only through Scripture that he is indeed the Messiah.

God bless,
Laurence

Sit down, Martha!

The story of Martha and Mary tells us that there are two types of Christians out there; where one is a worshipper and another is a waitperson or server. You can choose what you want to be, that’s to be a worshipper or server. But listen to this before you do; " Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. "" Luke 10:38-42. Mary chose the best part, to sit down at his feet and not be worried, frustrated, confused and troubl

What do you want to see in a 21st century church?

 I wanna see the glory of the Lord come in the temple! Once again, that when I come in the temple, behold, the whole place "is most holy," Ezekiel 43:12, and the glory of the Lord is full in the Temple. I like this verse; “Seven days they shall make atonement for the altar and purify it, and so consecrate it. When these days are over it shall be, on the eighth day and thereafter, that the priests shall offer your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on the altar; and I will accept you,' says the Lord GOD,” Ezekiel 43:26-27. Now, "…make atonement for the altar and purify it, and so consecrate it…and I will accept you," says the Lord. There is a river, healing waters; "flowing from under the threshold of the temple," Ezekiel 47:1. "This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed. And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, wi

The people of Israel

The journey of the people of Israel is a fascinating story, and understanding it could possibly make your own life story too. It began when God called Abraham, and said to him, " Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee " Acts 7:3. He obeyed, and he left and lived in Haran, in a country they now call Israel. But God, gave him no " inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child " Acts 7:5. So, God promised that eventually the whole country would belong to him and his descendants, but these descendants of his would leave the land and live in a foreign country and there become slaves for 400 years. He said  I will punish the nation that enslaves them, and afterwards they will return to this land of Israel and worship me here. Later, Isaac was born, and Isaac had Jacob, and Jaco
