"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not." 1 John 3:1.
That is what we are my friend, that God calls us his sons. We all who believed Him and have accepted Jesus, He gave us the right to become His Children, "the sons of God."
Jesus, as the Son was explaining the relationship he has with the Father, and he said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel." John 5:19-20.
That’s the same spirit you also have my friend, to do as the Father does. I hear Paul say, "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ" Galatians 4:6-7. That you see the Father do, you do also - "the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do." The Father will love you when you walk in such obedience, He will show you all things that He Himself does. Remember, Jesus taught, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father," John 14:12.
He will show you as heirs of God, all things that He Himself does.
Jesus said, "For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life" John 5:21-24.
He who hears the word and believes in Him has eternal life. He said he who hears the word and believes in Him shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
Hear this, Jesus says, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live." John 5:25. They who hear the word and believe in Him have everlasting life, and the dead also who hears the word and believes in Him will live also. He says, "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth - those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me" John 5:28-30.
God has granted the Son power to have life in Himself, and to judge as he would.
