Pilate interrogated Jesus, but could not find any fault in Him at all. He called Jesus, and said to Him, "Are You the King of the Jews?"
Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here." John 18:36.
Hear this, the kingdom we preach is not of this world, but is the kingdom of heaven or of God.
Anyway, he asked Him again, "Are You a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice." John 18:37. That’s why Paul said, "...Christ Jesus witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate..." 1 Timothy 6:13.
Jesus answered Pilate, "Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this concerning Me?" John 18:34.
Now, I will ask you the same question my friend, do you actually know the truth or believe for yourself or you are just following a crowd? Is salvation something you’ve personally experienced or it’s a hearsay, but in you not confirmed facts?
The desire to fit in is so strong that some people sometimes conform to a group consensus even when it goes against their own judgment - at least in public. In private, they're much more likely to follow their own minds. What’s in your mind?
I am saying this because I would like you to follow your own heart my friend; be willing to listen to your inner guidance, as it happens to you, and "we having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak." 2 Corinthians 4:13. Be true to yourself - remember it’s the truth that sets free. If you need help don’t hesitate to call me.
Pilate was a bit unease when he had that Jesus was the son of God, "he was the more afraid; he went again into the judgement hall, and said to Jesus, "Where are You from?" But Jesus gave him no answer. Then Pilate said to Him, "Are You not speaking to me? Do You not know that I have power to crucify You, and power to release You?" Jesus answered, "You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin." John 19:8-11.
No one can have power, authority, control and command over you unless it had been given them from above.
