Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid, John 14:27 KJV
FORGET the natural ways if you’re to receive anything from God; for it’s not by mighty nor by power anymore, but he that worship God must worship Him in SPIRIT and TRUTH.
Nicodemus asked Him, How can these things be?
To worship, or receive heavenly things, one must first do truth, believe it, got to be born again, and be born of the Spirit. Paul says, "And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life." 2 Corinthians 3:4-6. This is why I say, to receive anything from God forget the natural ways; that born of the flesh is flesh, and spirit spirit.
Anyway Jesus said, "Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you... I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." John 14:28
He said, "I go unto my Father," "If ye love me, keep my commandments; believe me, believe my word, "the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake." John 14:10-11
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, he said. You that do truth, to none else, but he that believe in him, that believe his word, that keep his word, and believe that the words that He’s spoken to you He speaks not of himself: but the Father who dwellers in him, it’s Him doing the works. He said I leave with you this peace, and I give to you this peace.
"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." John 14:21
How do you know that God loves you?
Because you love Jesus; You’ve His commands and you keep them. And the one who loves Him will be loved by the Father. Can you actually know it? Certainly, Jesus said, I will love him, the one who loves me, and will manifest/reveal myself to him.
Let not your heart be troubled; for "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you." John 14:20. You in Him, Him in you, and both you and Him together in the Father.
He said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14.
He said, "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread....." and if ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. He will takeover and His spirit will pray through and He will do it himself.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:
"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." John 14:16-17.
The Comforter, even the Spirit of truth; The Holy Spirit is not for everyone, but is for you who have known him and have believed and been born again - he dwelleth with you, and will remain in you. If you’ve got no Holy Spirit, chances are you got no Father or Son for these three are inseparable.
The world will see me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." John 14:18.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you - I will come to you.
"If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." John 14:23.
I will come to you; my Father will love you, and we will come to you, and make our abode with you.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you - "the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you" John 14:26.
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me." John 14:1. I tell you what he didn’t say though; he didn’t say believe his prophets. You don’t need prophets where you have his word and his spirit.
He said,
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know." John 14:3-4.
He’s coming back soon; to receive you to himself - that where He is, there ye may be also.
He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him." John 14:6-7
