One hope of our calling

Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied,
Jude 1:1-2 KJV.

The Apostle wants you to know that you’ve been sanctified, preserved and called. He says, "mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied" if you have this knowledge.

In verse 3 he says it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Why he’s writing is because "certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ" Jude 1:4. These evil men were teaching otherwise, like is the situation these days, that some think only a few have been called, anointed, or chosen to preach, but our salvation is a common salvation my friend - we’ve all been called, and teaching otherwise is denying or resisting what Jesus came here  to do and to serve.

Paul says, "Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) Philippians 3:16-19

He says, "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ." Ephesians 4:4-7.

In the great commission Jesus said, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28:18-20.

Jesus wants his believers to know that they’ve one hope of calling; and that every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ, and no one person should detect what he thinks you should do.

But he sanctified you, preserved you, and called you for this one purpose; that you should earnestly contend for the faith -  we all share this common salvation and purpose.

Don’t allow ungodly men to robe you of this common salvation, and mission. Let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. and be ye followers of that which is good and godly, the perfect will of God for you. Not witnessing will make a believers worse than infidels or enemies of the cross of Christ.

But this know that when we received him, there was only one hope of your calling; one faith and one baptism. Each one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ to testify or bear witness of his mercy, and peace, and love. Jesus said to the man delivered, "Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee." Mark 5:19. Preaching is our common denominator.

God bless you,

Sit down, Martha!

The story of Martha and Mary tells us that there are two types of Christians out there; where one is a worshipper and another is a waitperson or server. You can choose what you want to be, that’s to be a worshipper or server. But listen to this before you do; " Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. "" Luke 10:38-42. Mary chose the best part, to sit down at his feet and not be worried, frustrated, confused and troubl

Why Lord why me?

Many people ask; why Lord why me? Hezekiah said, " indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back ," Isaiah 38:17. Did you hear that? All things work for your good. God loves you regardless. However, that you do in the prime of your life impacts the remainder of your years, even hereafter. If you’re born again, you allow the Lord to undertake, but if you’re not born again you certainly deprive your latter years. Hezekiah had boils and was supposed to die because of them. He said, "I shall go to the gates of Sheol" and sin shall make an end of me. But when he repented, God undertook deliverance for him, he said, " What shall I say? He has both spoken to me, And He Himself has done it. I shall walk carefully all my years in the bitterness of my soul, " Isaiah 38:15 knowing that God has restored me. For this reason, he said I’ll prai

How much do people know about you?

Hezekiah answered, " They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them, " Isaiah 39:4. I can hear Isaiah say, " What? " Then Hezekiah said, it doesn’t matter Isaiah, " They came to me from a far country, from Babylon ." What can they do? Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, " Hear the word of the LORD of hosts: 'Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and what your fathers have accumulated until this day, shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left,' says the LORD. 'And they shall take away some of your sons who will descend from you, whom you will beget; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon .'" Isaiah 39:5-7. How much do people know about you my friend? Everything? Then hear the word of the Lord! This reminds me of one president. Someone said of him I don't think he can now be trusted with intelligence briefing, and in the futur
