Questionable circumstances are a red flag

Stay away from a preacher who never takes time off even if ill/old, who insists on dealing with certain people - that’s a red flag!  Questionable circumstances are a red flag believers have to look out for. Here is how the gospel works; you’re told the news first and then you relay it to others. Never claim ownership of it, instead pass it on, share and never enforce it upon a generation. Treating it as if it is yours is corruption or abuse of the delegated powers. Remember Rome was not built in one day, meaning the gospel is a complex task, it takes all our efforts, and great achievement takes time and effort and should not be rushed. So you pass it own to show that you have understood the gospel. No generation claims supremacy, the fathers passed it own to their sons (kings), prophets to other prophets too, and to Jesus, and Jesus to the apostles (Holy Ghost), and the apostles to us and so forth. I like how John puts it, he said, "I baptize with water: but there standeth one a

Payback time!

What would happen when  the Lamb opens the seven seals, and the seven angels sound the seven trumpets?  When He comes back, it’s payback time, a time for punishment for unbelievers, and reward for you who believe. "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this," Revelation 4:1 A throne is set in heaven, and One who sits on the throne, lives forever and ever, and in the right hand of Him is a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. In the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb, He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. He was the only one worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for he was slain, and have redeemed us to God by his blood. He opened the seven seals; the first, “and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer," Revelation 6:2. He opened the second seal, and behold “another horse, fiery re

Two great signs!

Two great signs appeared in heaven portraying what had happened, what is happening, and is going to happen; The first sign was of a woman "being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth," Revelation 12:2. The second, was of a dragon who stood before the woman "ready to devour her Child as soon as it was born,"Revelation 12:4.  Concurrently, there was war in heaven and Satan was thrown out of heaven, and "His tail drew a third of the stars [angels] of heaven and threw them to the earth," Revelation 12:4.  No place found was found for them in heaven any longer, "so the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him," Revelation 12:9.  The apostle then wrote, "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, hav

The time is near!

"Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen," Revelation 1:7. The Lord, "who is and who was and WHO IS TO COME, the Almighty," is indeed coming soon, and every eye will see Him. He who is coming says, “I have the keys of Hades and of Death," Revelation 1:18. "Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life," Revelation 2:10. He is coming quickly, in the same way he came to life, ready to punish those who hold false doctrine of Him. He said, "I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place-unless you repent," Revelation 2:5. He is saying, "Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against [you] with the sword of My mouth," Revelation 2:16. This time He is coming for battle;  to fight with the sword of His mouth, against a church/believers who "allow that woman

We have such TRUST

We have such TRUST through Christ toward God, 2 Corinthians 3:4 We are ministers of the new covenant, not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but we have such trust and hope through Christ towards God, that our sufficiency is from God. On our own we can do nothing, but we do minister through the spirit of Christ with such great boldness of speech, and the hope is we all, "are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord," 2 Corinthians 3:18. "Therefore, since we have this ministry…." 2 Corinthians 4:1. - we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, 2 Corinthians 4:5, and ourselves are your bondservants for Jesus' sake. - we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, 2 Corinthians 4:2. But by the manifestation of the truth "we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight

He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit

“The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God," Mark 1:1 John said there comes One after me, who is mightier than I, He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit. He then baptised Jesus and immediately, coming up from the water he saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Jesus like a dove. The Spirit then drove Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan, "and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him," Mark 1:13.  After John was put in prison, "Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel," Mark 1:14-15 And this was the gospel, that you will be baptised with the Holy Spirit. The Spirit comes in to drive you to places where you would not want to go, to places he himself would be effective. I hear Jesus say to Peter, "Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yours

An old prophet dwelt in Bethel

In 1 Kings 13, is a story of two prophets, one a young prophet and another one very old. God didn’t assign the old prophet for work even in his backyard, he had retired. Instead He sent a young prophet to curse the idolatrous altar that Jeroboam had built at Bethel. To cut a long story short, the young prophet on his way home encountered the old prophet who lied to him, claiming that an angel had told him that he was supposed to eat in the old prophet’s house. The young prophet agreed and as the result destroyed his ministry. Disobedience for whatever reason is still disobedience. He was deceived by a lying revelation and the young prophet defied God to His face. Sadly, there are many of us who are in the same position as the young prophet. We want to do what’s right, but instead we run to these old prophets where we are deceived by someone’s revelation about God. Some false teachers have constructed entire lying gospels. Others simply say, “Don’t worry about reading the Bible on your

Who are you to judge?

People ask me, "But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ," Romans 14:10. I do not criticise people for their weak faith, or for having different ideas from mine about what is right and wrong. what I do is rather disapprove of evil workers. If I say the Bible says, then it’s not me judging, but the Lord unto whom we all shall give an account and stand before the judgement seat.  Paul says, "but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way," Romans 14:13. Walk charitably - do not destroy each through vain philosophies. "Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food…" Romans 14:19-20. What are those things? “for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the H

What defiles a man?

"So Jesus said, "Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man,” Matthew 15:16-20. So what defiles a man is what comes out of a man, that defiles. Things which proceed from the heart, and comes out of the mouth is it what defiles a man, for out of the heart proceed "… evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness," Mark 7:21-22. You are not permitted any of the above, nor what causes an abomination or a lie. Paul says, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the

The Spirit of Truth vs the Spirit of Error!

If you’re born of God if you’re of this salvation. It means you inquire and search carefully, searching what, or what manner of spirit you have, whether what you have is the spirit of Truth or is the Spirit of error. Unfortunately, some believers don’t know, no wonder why Jesus "turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.  For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them," Luke 9:55-56. He is the spirit of meekness! "And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us,” 1 John 3:24. He has given us the spirit of truth, and it’s the spirit of truth  who "will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come," John 16:13.  He guides us into knowing God, and especially into knowing God’s will for you. "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we

The apostle wondered!

“…I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast…” Revelation 17:3 “Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters," Revelation 17:1 The many waters where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes of helpless souls, she’s “drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus," Revelation 17:6. She has "in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication," Revelation 17:4. Some people are on the position of leadership for the same purpose - to suck on the blood of believers. The woman is that great because she sits on a beast which is full of blasphemous names. He carries her about for their own advantage. He knows that he is going to perdition. The woman shares one purpose with “the beast that was, and is not, and yet is" to make war with the lamb. He was with us, yet not for us, bu

When I am weak, then I am strong!

What is it in which you are inferior to other people, to other believers, other churches, etc? Is it your lack, need, illness, or weakness? Paul says, "for in nothing was I behind the most eminent apostles, though I am nothing," "…most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me," 2 Corinthians 12:9 "And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, " and be found of such as you do not wish; with "contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults," 2 Corinthians 12:20. “… I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong," 2 Corinthians 12:10.  He says I take pleasure in infirmities, "lest, … my God will humble me among you, and I shall mourn for many who have sinned before and have not repented of the unclean

The Word of life!

The word of life is eternal life preached, manifested, or exhibited to you. The choice is yours my friend, to want to look upon, touch, hear, declare or bear witness of the same, but “whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him," 1 John 2:5. The message of the word of life is, eternal life, that God is light, and that we have fellowship with Him if we walk just as He walked. And now because you have the light of God, "darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining," 1 John 2:8. There is no cause for stumbling in you. The apostle says, “I have written to you, … Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one," 1 John 2:14.  It is the word of truth, an anointing,  "the same teaches you concerning all things," 1 John 2:27. Let this truth abide in you, and you abide in Him. He who does the will of God abides forever! "We have an Advoc

The Truth about Spiritual Warfare!

We or Us as believers, "though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh," 2 Corinthians 10:3. We’re all roped together, (you included) in this spiritual war that day you received Christ. Paul says, "for it was to you that we came with the gospel of Christ," 2 Corinthians 10:14. It is a spiritual war, in which we as believers do not war or fight according to the flesh, also, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. We operate within the limits of our sphere and authority, and in all conflicts, we use only the weaponry God appointed us. He appointed the gospel of Christ to us, it is "mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled," 2 Corinthians 10:4-6. The gospel is "our authority, which the Lord gave us

Collection for the saints!

Now concerning collection for the saints; "as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also," 1 Corinthians 16:1 Every Sunday "let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper," 1 Corinthians 16:2 "Let all that you do be done with love," 1 Corinthians 16:14. devote yourself to the ministry of saints. also, submit to everyone who works and labors with us, 1 Corinthians 16:16 "And if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear; for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do. Therefore let no one despise him…" 1 Corinthians 16:10-11 Take good care of your spiritual leaders, send aid to other believers too, and if you will understand the ministry of giving and receiving, more fruit will abound to your account for "God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus," Philippians 4:19. "Who ever goes to war at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and do

We are ambassadors for Christ!

“God… through Jesus Christ…has given us the ministry of reconciliation," 2 Corinthians 5:18, not only so, but also He "has committed to us the word of reconciliation," 2 Corinthians 5:19. He committed this to you, to every believer, the ministry and word of reconciliation "that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart," 2 Corinthians 5:12. God is pleading through us, that all should reconciled to Him. The love of Christ compels us too, "that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again," 2 Corinthians 5:15.  God made "Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him," 2 Corinthians 5:21. Therefore we make it our aim, to be well pleasing to Him. Knowing, we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in our consciences. For that reason we groan, earnestly desiring to not be found naked. We want to be furt

Spiritual Gifts

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant, 1 Corinthians 12:1. There are diversities of gifts, different ministries, activities and "manifestation of the spirit given to each one for the profit of all, "1 Corinthians 12:7. All these things, (prophecy, word of wisdom, knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, miracles, kinds of tongues and interpretations) "the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills," 1 Corinthians 12:11. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, and have all been made to drink into one Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12:13. "And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues," 1 Corinthians 12:28. But the greatest of these gifts is love, and that we should earnestly desire. "Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially t

Keep your marriage vows

WIVES submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord, Colossians 3:18. Husbands , love your wives and do not be bitter toward them, Colossians 3:19. Children ; - obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord, Colossians 3:20. At what age do you typically stop calling a person a child? Some say 16 or 18, but if at that age you still live with your parents you typically are a child who should obey parents in all things, not in eye service, but in sincerity of heart, and fearing God. Fearing God, simply meaning whatever you do, you "do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men," Colossians 3:23. Be at peace among yourselves, "… always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all," 1 Thessalonians 5:15. Let no one deceive you by any means; do not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He

Who called you?

Paul says, I am " an apostle not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, " Galatians 1:1. I am an apostle, " according to the will of our God and Father, " Galatians 1:4, who called me in the grace of Christ, Galatians 1:6. If therefore I seek to please men, or preach to you another gospel except the gospel of Christ, " I would not be a bondservant of Christ, " Galatians 1:10. He says, " But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ ," Galatians 1:11-12. God through grace reveals His Son to us, He calls us to preach the gospel of Christ, " that the truth of the gospel may continue with you ," Galatians 2:5. Who called you? I leave you that you answer for yourself. “ But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found si

Walk worthy of the Lord

That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him; set your mind on things above, not " fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry ," Colossians 3:5. Put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth, and put on then " the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him ," Colossians 3:10. " Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and s

God’s Infallible Purpose in Christ

God isn’t sending any new word or new kind of revelation today, because in these last days, He has already spoken to us through Jesus, "by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things…" Hebrews 1:2   And he says, "Let all the angels of God worship Him," Hebrews 1:6. Yes, let’s all receive him.  Your insights or teachings cannot be any better than God’s supreme revelation.  Hear the heavenly voice, and "see that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven," Hebrews 12:25. Let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. Jesus is exalted above the ministry that of angels and of the prophets. He stays " the same, And [His] years will not fail," Hebrews 1:12. I like chapter 2, verse 1 says, “Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift

Letter of Paul to Philemon!

Philemon was a pastor who got his servant Onesimus imprisoned when he was alleged to have defrauded him. But Onesimus met Paul in and got saved.   When he was released Paul wrote a letter to Philemon saying, “I appeal to you for Onesimus, whom I have begotten while in my chains, who once was unprofitable to you, but now is profitable to you and to me. I am sending him back. You therefore receive him, that is, my own heart," Philemon 1:10-12. He said, Yes, brother, let me have joy from you in the Lord; receive him as you would me, a partner, "no longer as a slave but more than a slave - a beloved brother," Philemon 1:16. He said I am commanding you what’s fitting, Onesimus now is no ordinary person, but a believer, or rather your senior pastor of "the church in your house," Philemon 1:2. "For perhaps he departed for a while for this purpose, that you might receive him forever," Philemon 1:15. Understand why you are doing this; it is so, "that th

Qualities of a sound church

Church should accord with godliness, and its leadership uphold sound doctrine. Believers, both men & women have to "be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience…teachers of good things," Titus 2:2. They must be able to admonish the youth, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Young people have a tendency to see themselves in a new way, which sometimes is strange. So Paul says, "Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing … a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility," Titus 2:6. Help them to adorn in good doctrine, which is able to train them. We can’t coach them, but good doctrine can of course. A sound church is charitable; is subject "to rulers and authorities" of the country they’re in. They’re peaceable, gentle, and they "show humility to all men," Titus 3:2 A bishop must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, … not greedy for
