What do you want to see in a 21st century church?

I wanna see the glory of the Lord come in the temple! Once again, that when I come in the temple, behold, the whole place "is most holy," Ezekiel 43:12, and the glory of the Lord is full in the Temple. I like this verse; “Seven days they shall make atonement for the altar and purify it, and so consecrate it. When these days are over it shall be, on the eighth day and thereafter, that the priests shall offer your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on the altar; and I will accept you,' says the Lord GOD,” Ezekiel 43:26-27. Now, "…make atonement for the altar and purify it, and so consecrate it…and I will accept you," says the Lord. There is a river, healing waters; "flowing from under the threshold of the temple," Ezekiel 47:1. "This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed. And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, wi

Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

Irresponsible Shepherds only feed themselves. Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?,Ezekiel 34:2. Irresponsible Shepherds, do not feed the flock, they instead eat and clothe themselves, and they mind only to strengthen themselves. They see the flock as a means of their food, and thus prey on the flock. Gone are the days you see another man as your shepherd for the Lord says I Myself, I AM, am your True Shepherd, "You are My flock, the flock of My pasture; you are men, and I am your God," says the Lord GOD, Ezekiel 34:31. When you shall know this, then He will cause wild beasts to cease, and you will dwell safely in the land. He said, "I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing," Ezekiel 34:26. No more shall you become food for the beasts if you believe this word. Irresponsible Shepherds, beasts, are they who feed themselves. "The weak you have not s

Each one, according to his ways

The Lord says I will judge you, every one of you, each one, “according to his ways,” Ezekiel 18:30 Therefore, so that iniquity will not be your ruin, "Get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit, Ezekiel 18:31. He says put away this proverb, which says, "The fathers have eaten sour grapes, And the children's teeth are set on edge," (Ezekiel 18:2) because only "The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself," Ezekiel 18:20. God says I have no pleasure that any should perish, but do yourself a favour, turn from your own ways, your own unfaithfulness and live. Again he says, "But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has

Remember the days of your youth

God found me struggling in my own blood, and He said to me, ‘Live!’ My birth wasn’t that special either.  I was naked and bare, but when He found me He washed me in water, He says, " yes, I thoroughly washed off your blood, and I anointed you with oil ," Ezekiel 16:9. I was filthy to the core of my heart and of my blood, but God when He saved me He made me thrive like a plant in the field; and and He says, " you grew, matured, and became very beautiful ," Ezekiel 16:7. I say remember the days of your youth because when you’ve matured you tend to forget that it’s God who made you beautiful, even my blood needed cleaning. He says, " your beauty, was [is] perfect through My splendor which I had bestowed on you, " says the Lord GOD, Ezekiel 16:14. Some forget and begin to trust in their own beauty, strength and fame. They think they’ve succeeded because they are clever. Such things should not happen, nor be.  God says, remember the days of your youth, when you

Let your soul go!

God wants wicked workers (seducing spirits) to let your soul go! Unfortunately, you continue to listen to their lies. He asked Ezekiel, "Should I let Myself be inquired of at all by them?" Ezekiel 14:3. Inquired on by these false prophets or those who’ve made them idols?  Here is the thing, He said, "the punishment of the prophet shall be the same as the punishment of the one who inquired," Ezekiel 14:10. He said, by their ways and their doings "they are all estranged from Me," Ezekiel 14:5.  This is one example how people separate themselves from God when they set up idols in their hearts and put before themselves "what causes [them] to stumble into iniquity… Ezekiel 14:7. God says "you profane Me among My people … by your lying to My people who listen to [your] lies?" Ezekiel 13:19. But the Lord GOD says: "Behold, I am against your magic charms by which you hunt souls there like birds. I will tear them from your arms, and let the so

An End!

Thus says the Lord GOD to the land: 'An end!’   You shall know that I am the LORD who strikes, Ezekiel 7:9. No one will strengthen himself who lives in iniquity. Their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them. The LORD will strike even the prophets, " Disaster will come upon disaster, And rumor will be upon rumor. Then they will seek a vision from a prophet; But the law will perish from the priest, And counsel from the elders, " Ezekiel 7:26. They will seek peace, but there shall be none. A believer should be able to tell when it’s the end of all things, when it’s doom and when the Lord will put an end to iniquity. Can God be seen?

Ezekiel said, "… the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God, " Ezekiel 1:1 He said, then I looked, and behold, "… the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it. Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around. Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. So when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking, " Ezekiel 1:26-28. Can God be seen? Yes God can be seen! He has given us the ability to see Him through His Word. God, His word and the spirit are inseparable. Ezekiel said I saw visions of God; w

Why is finding God so difficult?

God says, ‘Here I am’ My hands stretched all day long for you, but “... when I called, you did not answer; When I spoke, you did not hear, But did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight," Isaiah 65:12. He said you’ve walked in a way that is not good, i.e. according to you own thoughts. That’s why I "was found by those who did not seek Me." ‘Here I am!‘ The good thing with God is he reveals himself to you, but sadly we choose not to see, seek, listen nor to find him. To “find God” is an expression that can mean different things to different people. For some, is getting religion, whatever religion that may be. For others, to “find God” means to “clean up one’s life,” usually with his help. In any case, to “find God” involves a change in someone’s attitude and behaviour. Biblically speaking, to find God means to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus that anyone can come to God (John 14:6), and receiving Christ results in a

Why is God not listening?

Don’t look any further my friend, but look at yourself, the answer is you do as you please! God has not noticed your prayers because "your iniquities are separating you from your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not listen,” Isaiah 59:2. Iniquity could simply mean your conduct... We pretend sometimes that we want to know. James says, "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" James 2:20. But if we really care, "Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear," Isaiah 59:1. The problem sometimes is, we trust too much in empty words and lie to ourselves, but if we "conceive evil [we] bring forth iniquity," Isaiah 59:4. Our feet are good only when we run to evil, wasting and destruction. But the way of peace we’ve not known, therefore the fruit of righteousness is far from us. We look for light, but there is darkness. I don’t want you to se

Would you call this a fast?

Would you call this a FAST, And an acceptable day to the LORD? A hypocrite is a person who pretends to have certain beliefs, when in reality he/she really does not. An example is a person who fasts, but is constantly finding pleasure. Some people take delight only in approaching God; they seek him daily, as if they do righteousness, and they pretend to know God’s ways as if they did not forsake His ordinances.  Isaiah 58:2 says, "They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God," but in actual fact their hearts are far away from him. The Lord of the Sabbath was right when He said, "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven,” Matthew 7:20-21 Why do we fast these day? Isaiah said, you fast for advantage; to make your voices heard. He said, “Indeed you fast for strife and debate, And to strike wi

Ho! Ho! Ho! Everyone

Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? It’s because your leaders want you to do so, but " My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, " says the LORD. " For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts, " Isaiah 55:8-9. With God, salvation is free! The price was on Jesus, and 2000 years ago God accepted the offering of his blood - it was enough. God said nations " shall run to you, Because of the LORD your God, " not because for any other reason, your money, your wages nor tithing, but because of the sure mercies of David shown them. He said, " as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be... " Isaiah 55:10 - 11. Freely you received, and freely give. He

The covenant of peace

God agreed through Christ that between you and Him there be a perpetual covenant peace. You will break forth into singing, and cry aloud with joy, you who were desolate and hopeless, " for with great mercies I will gather you, " says the Lord. In Christ we’re gathered together - He is our Redeemer! He fights for us! He prospers us! " No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD, "Isaiah 54:17. He said, " So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed, " Says the LORD, who has mercy on you, Isaiah 54:9-10. In His covenant (His love, His Love and His kindness) you’re safe my friend, and you have peace. Do not fear, only sing

Why Lord why me?

Many people ask; why Lord why me? Hezekiah said, " indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back ," Isaiah 38:17. Did you hear that? All things work for your good. God loves you regardless. However, that you do in the prime of your life impacts the remainder of your years, even hereafter. If you’re born again, you allow the Lord to undertake, but if you’re not born again you certainly deprive your latter years. Hezekiah had boils and was supposed to die because of them. He said, "I shall go to the gates of Sheol" and sin shall make an end of me. But when he repented, God undertook deliverance for him, he said, " What shall I say? He has both spoken to me, And He Himself has done it. I shall walk carefully all my years in the bitterness of my soul, " Isaiah 38:15 knowing that God has restored me. For this reason, he said I’ll prai

How much do people know about you?

Hezekiah answered, " They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them, " Isaiah 39:4. I can hear Isaiah say, " What? " Then Hezekiah said, it doesn’t matter Isaiah, " They came to me from a far country, from Babylon ." What can they do? Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, " Hear the word of the LORD of hosts: 'Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and what your fathers have accumulated until this day, shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left,' says the LORD. 'And they shall take away some of your sons who will descend from you, whom you will beget; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon .'" Isaiah 39:5-7. How much do people know about you my friend? Everything? Then hear the word of the Lord! This reminds me of one president. Someone said of him I don't think he can now be trusted with intelligence briefing, and in the futur

This is our God!

And it will be said in that day: "Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the LORD; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation , Isaiah 25:9. You must be able to look around your life and say, This is the LORD! He has done wonderful things for all people, for on this mountain (the church) the hand of the LORD will rest, and He will spread out His hands in our midst " As a swimmer reaches out to swim, " Isaiah 25:11. This is our God; His counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. In his mountain The LORD of hosts has promised to make for all people a feast, " He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken, " Isaiah 25:8. We’re privileged, rather blessed because we’re living in the days of the Lord, " Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligentl

He will set up a banner for the nations!

Isaiah saw a word that revealed to him the days of the Lord; he saw the Lord’s birth, death and resurrection and the peace we all have received because of Him.  Remember how in time past we were not a people my friend, but now we’re the people of God: we had not obtained mercy, but now we have obtained mercy. Isaiah said; " The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined, " Isaiah 9:2. We’re not perfected as yet. Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in our vexation.  Anyway, let’s move on. Here he said, " It shall come to pass in that day...the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil, " Isaiah 10:27. He said, " And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, and might; the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord, " Isaiah 11:2. In His days, Christ’s days, our days, all the earth shall be

See beyond the impossible...

Those who are fearful-hearted, " Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come....and save you. " See beyond the impossible; open your eyes and your ears too. Jackals are having their last laugh, because they can’t stand what’s coming. But you shall leap for joy! Water will spring " in the habitation of jackals, where each lay, There shall be grass with reeds and rushes, " Isaiah 35:7. As for the jackals, you will see them no more. " A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray, " Isaiah 35:8. It’s the Lord’s doing, he’s come to redeem you, " And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away, " Isaiah 35:10. See beyond the impossible, look beyon

We’ve seen a great light!

In time past we were not a people my friend, but now we’re the people of God: we had not obtained mercy, but now we have obtained mercy. Isaiah said; " The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined, " Isaiah 9:2. Not that we have already attained; we’re not perfected as yet. " Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation... " Isaiah 9:1. We now have hope! It is not the same as we were ignorant of God. But now we believe and this hope we have is the anchor of the soul, and we press on like Paul, that we may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of us. He said, " I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained,

Hope in God

Some people are bent on troubling others. It’s true some people are bent on troubling others. They can make war with you for no reason especially if you’re a Christian, but don’t worry my friend for whatever it is they’re trying to do shall not stand. The Lord will surely establish you  if you believe. But how do they make war with you?  They anonymously deploy to you spiritual forces, the tools of wickedness (fear, hatred, lying, gossip, envy) to fight or scare you off, and to make you fill like you are in a storm. But whatever that is people are plotting against you my friend, " thus says the Lord GOD: "It shall not stand, Nor shall it come to pass, " (Isaiah 7:7) for God is with us. What do you need to do, wear a charm? No my friend, absolutely nothing, except that you love the Lord.  " For the Lord says, "Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will make him great because he trusts in my name. When he calls on me, I will answer; I will be with him in trou

The new birth!

There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. One needs to jump out of his comfort zone to understand or enter the kingdom of God. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, " Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God ..." John 3:2. But knowing should not be your destination, instead perform that you know - " Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God, " John 3:3. Be born again my friend, born of the water and Spirit.  Jump out of your comfort zone, and challenge the status quo; challenge yourself, your vision, your gift, your organisation, your culture, your best practices, your beliefs, etc. You must be born again my friend, born of the Spirit. Do not marvel,  for with God all things are possible - it’s doable! " Jesus answered and said to him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? " John 3:10. If you p

Nations descended from Noah...

Nations were divided on the earth after the flood; " These were the families of the sons of Noah, according to their generations, in their nations; and from these the nations were divided on the earth after the flood, " Genesis 10:32. After the flood, the sons of Noah, had sons, (and daughters also) born to them according to their generations, in their nations, " everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations, " Genesis 10:5. Chapter 11 tells us how they got spread, and became nations. They were migrating as one group until the incident at the Tower of Babel,  " the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth ..."Genesis 11:8. But, how come some people are white and others black, etc, if we are all descendants of  Noah? The Lord said in Genesis 11:7, " Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech ." It was the doing of the
