Hope in God

Some people are bent on troubling others. It’s true some people are bent on troubling others. They can make war with you for no reason especially if you’re a Christian, but don’t worry my friend for whatever it is they’re trying to do shall not stand. The Lord will surely establish you  if you believe. But how do they make war with you?  They anonymously deploy to you spiritual forces, the tools of wickedness (fear, hatred, lying, gossip, envy) to fight or scare you off, and to make you fill like you are in a storm. But whatever that is people are plotting against you my friend, " thus says the Lord GOD: "It shall not stand, Nor shall it come to pass, " (Isaiah 7:7) for God is with us. What do you need to do, wear a charm? No my friend, absolutely nothing, except that you love the Lord.  " For the Lord says, "Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will make him great because he trusts in my name. When he calls on me, I will answer; I will be with him in trou

The new birth!

There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. One needs to jump out of his comfort zone to understand or enter the kingdom of God. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, " Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God ..." John 3:2. But knowing should not be your destination, instead perform that you know - " Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God, " John 3:3. Be born again my friend, born of the water and Spirit.  Jump out of your comfort zone, and challenge the status quo; challenge yourself, your vision, your gift, your organisation, your culture, your best practices, your beliefs, etc. You must be born again my friend, born of the Spirit. Do not marvel,  for with God all things are possible - it’s doable! " Jesus answered and said to him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? " John 3:10. If you p

Nations descended from Noah...

Nations were divided on the earth after the flood; " These were the families of the sons of Noah, according to their generations, in their nations; and from these the nations were divided on the earth after the flood, " Genesis 10:32. After the flood, the sons of Noah, had sons, (and daughters also) born to them according to their generations, in their nations, " everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations, " Genesis 10:5. Chapter 11 tells us how they got spread, and became nations. They were migrating as one group until the incident at the Tower of Babel,  " the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth ..."Genesis 11:8. But, how come some people are white and others black, etc, if we are all descendants of  Noah? The Lord said in Genesis 11:7, " Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech ." It was the doing of the

Behold, I establish My covenant with you...

So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth ," Genesis 9:1. The blessing upon us Christians is to fill the earth with our own kind. That’s our responsibility, duty,  or charge; to be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth with our ways. God enabled us to be in control. " The fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand, " Genesis 9:2. Every demon knows that, they fear and dread of our spiritual essence.  You should know that you’re capable of my friend. Know your limits too, that you’re not supposed to do.  Yes we’re powerful creatures, " but you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood, " Genesis 9:4.   God made us in his image,  that we should thrive together, not that we should eat, devour, destroy, use, or take advantage of each other. The powe

Then God remembered Noah...

Noah was in the ark, but that was not the solution, it was the process of Noah’s deliverance. " Then God remembered Noah... in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided ," Genesis 8:1.  To solve this, " The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were also stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained. And the waters receded continually from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters decreased, " Genesis 8:2-3. To be in the ark is not good enough; water has to recede. Your want problems have to disappear, there must be a solution to your dilemma. The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained, and the waters receded or decreased to complete Noah’s deliverance.  He went out of the ark, meaning he worked out of all his problems, and that you should my friend. The Lord spoke to him saying, " Go out of the ark, you and your wife, and your son

The Great Flood

May the LORD say to you, " Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation, " Genesis 7:1. Yes, may it become true of you that you are righteous, right standing before Him in this generation. If it’s the case, The LORD will shut you in, He will spread his royal pavilion over you. David says, " For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock, " Psalm 27:5.  My friend, you need the Lord like never before, to hide you when all living things around you are destroyed by this great flood, this pandemic of our time. But like Noah, remain alive in the ark my friend. Similar Posts  Let there be light The history of creation Life in God’s garden Trees are good Where is your brother? We are for signs and wonders!

Here is what you need to know about what is happening; Isaiah said; " Do not say, 'A conspiracy,' Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. " Isaiah 8:12.  I hear Paul say, " Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice...be glad also with exceeding joy. "1 Peter 4:12-13. What the Lord wants you to do is Fear God, heed His Word, and in your walk with him, do not be influenced by people, nor by prophecy of those who contradict the truth of the gospel. What people say is conspiracy, harmful, covin, pandemic or even deception may not be so in God’s eyes. So He says, " do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. " The prophet Isaiah said, " The LORD of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear, And let Him be your dread. He will be as a sanctuary ..." Isaiah 8:13-14. You will no

The sons of God saw the daughters of men

God created man, both male and female he created them; he first formed man, Adam, " of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being, " Genesis 2:7. Secondly, the LORD God said, " It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him, " Genesis 2:18. The LORD then caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, " and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said: "This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man, " Genesis 2:21-23. I hear Paul say, " For man is not from woman, but woman from man, " 1 Corinthians 11:8. And Moses says man are sons of God, and women are daughters of men. Eve when she conceived and bore Cain, she said, " I have acquired a

The history of Adam's family...

The generations of Adam We’re told Adam begot Cain and Abel, then afterwards he begot Seth and had other sons and daughters also. In the book of the genealogy of Adam, Genesis 5, we are also told "he had sons and daughters," Genesis 5:4. Moses as author didn’t bother to record when daughters were born, no wonder people question where Cain got his wife, but neither does the Bible tell us where Seth also got his wife either. Later in life it was taboo to marry your own sister or brother, and this is the reason why bible translations edited that out, but it was not an issue then. " This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created, " Genesis 5:1-2  In Genesis 1:27-28, " So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed

Where is your brother?

Where is "Abel" your brother? "I do not know," usually is what the Cain spirit is quick to say. But the welfare of your brother, your kinsman is your responsibility my friend, specially if you want God to be respectful to your offerings. Jesus said, " if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift, " Matthew 5:23-24. But today’s believer offers it anyway, regardless of how they cause emotional pain, harm or  hurt others’ feelings. Why would you be angry on your brother? The LORD said to Cain, " Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it, " Genesis 4:6-7. Yes my friend, rule over sin; ungodliness, anger, unloving

Here am I! Send me!

When the Lord called Isaiah to be a prophet that calling didn’t just end up with him, but it was extended to us also. Isaiah said, " I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me, " Isaiah 6:8.   Do not wait until you feel more holier than thou because you may never know how God works. You can ' Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive. ' But you my friend, as you genuinely answer his call, He’ll definitely touch your lips; and your iniquity will be taken away, And your sin purged. It’s God’s business to take away your iniquity, and yours to answer His calling to "Go, and tell this people" that there’s God. All you need to do my friend is hear that same voice (word) and respond to it positively saying, " Here am I! Send me. "  Isaiah said send me, but said, Lord, how long? Go, and tell these people, until the whole earth is full

Trees are good!

And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Genesis 2:9. Out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food.   Trees are good, they provide many benefits to people, birds and wildlife and the communities they live in. Genesis 2:8 says, "The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed," "to tend and keep it," Genesis 2:15. Trees need care, like the situation in the garden of Eden.  Some trees didn’t have to be eaten but were to be properly taken care of, and long-term care is essential to maximise the benefits a tree has to offer.  So trees provide many benefits to people. " God said, "See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yield

Life in God’s garden

And the LORD God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him." Genesis 2:18. We have many things in common with each other as believers, but are also different in many ways. But in God’s garden we see those differences as a benefit, not hindrance, because those differences should be shared.  Every believer should have a right to another’s cause of being; love, help, and pity, etc. Just recently I taught on the subject, "The other side of God," and some people thought, why is he talking about this. But if you can’t share, the Lord God will cause a deep sleep to fall on you, will then take your rib and close up its place with flesh, but that rib he will make it into something you will never stop to love, smile, show mercy, etc. In a nutshell, life in God’s garden is about empowering people by respecting and appreciating what makes them different.  Com’on folks, be one, be joined together, do not be ashamed of each other,

The History of Creation

The Bible says, " In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth ," Genesis 1:1. But do believers know how creation took place? Genesis 2:4 says, " This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens ." Before there was anything God said, "Let there be," and then He caused things to be, He made, planted and formed. Even Seas, rivers and vegetation didn’t happen spontaneously, but they were made, and so was men and every creature. After these were made he blessed them, and each to produce according to its kind. " This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth... " Genesis 2:4-5. How were they created?  In the beginning God said, &

Let there be light!

Light to divide light from darkness, and lights also to divide the day from the night, and to be for lights. Then God made the stars also.  You’re a star my friend, He made you so, and set you above,  in the firmament of the heavens, that you may " give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness... " Genesis 1:17-18. He also appointed His greater Light to give light upon your darkness, to rule over your own light and darkness.  And God saw that it was good. So God created man, male and female, you and me in His own image; in the image of God we’re created; to have DOMINION. The other side of God; " Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand. " Deut 32:39. What have you discovered of Him yourself? Similar Posts  Let there be light The history of creation Life in God’s garden Trees are good Where

Know the Truth!

God’s desire is that all men be saved and that they come "to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Timothy 2:3-4. 2021 don’t just worship anyhow, but as a believer, you should KNOW what’s expected of you. We can’t assume every believer knows what is supposed to be done, known, when, and to what quality of level.  God has made SIMPLE how you should come to the knowledge of truth, and after you have known,  do it. In my Simple Gospel Summation, SIMPLE is acronym, and each letter has a meaning. As I write I; S et expectations and goals upfront.  Invite believers for Commitment M easure Progress  P rovide Feedback L ink/Share Consequences E valuate Effectiveness This is what God expects of us, and we also SET same expectations and goals for ourselves, and INVITE commitment from others, that as believers they also MEASURE their progress, PROVIDE feedback, Link/ share and then EVALUATE effectiveness. As we journey together, know what is expected of you my friend, and if you preach, set yo

Slow of heart to believe!

2021 Who could be heading to Emmaus?   Behold, two men were traveling to Emmaus, it was a new year for them. While they journeyed they occupied themselves with past circumstances, talking together of all these things which had happened. That was their biggest mistake that you shouldn’t do my friend when you’ve crossed over.  Jesus appeared on them, but in disguised, and asked, " What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad? " Luke 24:17. How they answered is probably what every Christian would do when they want to demonstrate how versed they’re with the scriptures, they know something, be it current affairs or history.   So Cleopas answered and said to Him, " Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days? " Jesus then said what things? The man then answered back, but ignorantly demonstrated how his own faith was misplaced. This we come across often amongst ours
