This is our God!

And it will be said in that day: "Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the LORD; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation
, Isaiah 25:9.

You must be able to look around your life and say, This is the LORD! He has done wonderful things for all people, for on this mountain (the church) the hand of the LORD will rest, and He will spread out His hands in our midst "As a swimmer reaches out to swim," Isaiah 25:11.

This is our God; His counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. In his mountain The LORD of hosts has promised to make for all people a feast, "He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken," Isaiah 25:8.

We’re privileged, rather blessed because we’re living in the days of the Lord, "Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow," 1 Peter 1:10-11.

This is our God; He has "been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall," Isaiah 25:4.

This is it that makes you say, "O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth," Isaiah 25:1.

Can you say my friend, that God has been your strength? The reason we glorify Him is because He’s done wonderful things for us in distressing moments. He has been a refuge for us from the storm. That has to be true for you my friend; to be able to say for yourself that this is my God.

He spreads out His hands over us in our midst as a swimmer reaches out to swim. He provides total protection for us 24/7 who believe as He promised.

In that day of the Lord, i.e., our days of grace, we’ve a strong city, which only the righteous souls who keeps the truth enters in; "God will appoint salvation for walls and bulwarks," Isaiah 26:1. Salvation comes loaded with so many benefits, it is a defence for you who have it.

In that city, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe," Proverbs 18:10. Calling upon the name of the Lord is like running into a reinforced bunker or walls and bulwarks for shelter.

He will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Him, who trust in the Lord. "Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength," Isaiah 26:3-4.

Here is why my soul will always say This is the God; He has not only dominion over us, but He’s also done all our works in us - He’s our hiding place.

God bless you,

Laurence

Sit down, Martha!

The story of Martha and Mary tells us that there are two types of Christians out there; where one is a worshipper and another is a waitperson or server. You can choose what you want to be, that’s to be a worshipper or server. But listen to this before you do; " Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. "" Luke 10:38-42. Mary chose the best part, to sit down at his feet and not be worried, frustrated, confused and troubl

Why is finding God so difficult?

God says, ‘Here I am’ My hands stretched all day long for you, but “... when I called, you did not answer; When I spoke, you did not hear, But did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight," Isaiah 65:12. He said you’ve walked in a way that is not good, i.e. according to you own thoughts. That’s why I "was found by those who did not seek Me." ‘Here I am!‘ The good thing with God is he reveals himself to you, but sadly we choose not to see, seek, listen nor to find him. To “find God” is an expression that can mean different things to different people. For some, is getting religion, whatever religion that may be. For others, to “find God” means to “clean up one’s life,” usually with his help. In any case, to “find God” involves a change in someone’s attitude and behaviour. Biblically speaking, to find God means to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus that anyone can come to God (John 14:6), and receiving Christ results in a

You are a chosen generation

Reverend Muzembi  " Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded " 1 Peter 2:6 KJV Christ, is very precious to God. He is a chief corner stone upon this spiritual house God is building. You’re precious to God too, and " as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ " 1 Peter 2:5. We’re priests, who offer to God those things that please him - you matter so much to God. Christ is precious to you who believe in God through him, for without him we can do nothing, all our royalty is because him, and to those who reject him still he’s  precious, that when iniquity abounds they may fall. But you are not like them, for  through Christ you have been chosen by God himself, you are God's very own - all this so that you may show to others how God called you o
