Why is God not listening?

Don’t look any further my friend, but look at yourself, the answer is you do as you please!

God has not noticed your prayers because "your iniquities are separating you from your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not listen,” Isaiah 59:2. Iniquity could simply mean your conduct...

We pretend sometimes that we want to know. James says, "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" James 2:20.

But if we really care, "Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear," Isaiah 59:1.

The problem sometimes is, we trust too much in empty words and lie to ourselves, but if we "conceive evil [we] bring forth iniquity," Isaiah 59:4. Our feet are good only when we run to evil, wasting and destruction. But the way of peace we’ve not known, therefore the fruit of righteousness is far from us. We look for light, but there is darkness.

I don’t want you to seek God in vain my friend.

The Lord says to Hosea, Israel is swallowed up, like a vessel in which is no pleasure.

They have rejected their good; "They set up kings, but not by Me; They made princes, but I did not acknowledge them. From their silver and gold They made idols for themselves ... My anger is aroused against them- How long until they attain to innocence? For from Israel is even this: A workman made it, and it is not God..." Hosea 8:4-6.

"... They have made themselves crooked paths; Whoever takes that way shall not know peace," Isaiah 59:8.

Ask yourself, yes we say we know God, but are we not also swallowed up in our own ways? What sort of vessels are we, his or we are simply our own masters? God isn’t interested in the thing we call worship.

Hosea 8:3 says,"Israel has rejected the good," and because of that God has no pleasure in that they do. He has no pleasure in our will worship, and we waste our time seeking him through tradition. Tradition turns you into a vessel God has no pleasure in.

So among us truth fails, And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey, when he joins any of these cults we have. "Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him That there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him," Isaiah 59:15-16.

There could be no other Redeemer except for Christ, God himself. Following after men, this prophet and that man of God is a thing of the past. It all ended when Christ came.

"As for Me," says the LORD, this is My covenant with them - signifying He is the Alpha and Omega.

Good only listens to his word, he does not listen to our thoughts or opinions about him; He said my word that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. He wants you to be immersed in it.

His word is the only thing true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and good report. Know God based only on it’s account.

He didn’t send us to analyse it or ‘take to mean’ his word, but to read it then understand the vision and run with it.

Sit down, Martha!

The story of Martha and Mary tells us that there are two types of Christians out there; where one is a worshipper and another is a waitperson or server. You can choose what you want to be, that’s to be a worshipper or server. But listen to this before you do; " Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. "" Luke 10:38-42. Mary chose the best part, to sit down at his feet and not be worried, frustrated, confused and troubl

Why is finding God so difficult?

God says, ‘Here I am’ My hands stretched all day long for you, but “... when I called, you did not answer; When I spoke, you did not hear, But did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight," Isaiah 65:12. He said you’ve walked in a way that is not good, i.e. according to you own thoughts. That’s why I "was found by those who did not seek Me." ‘Here I am!‘ The good thing with God is he reveals himself to you, but sadly we choose not to see, seek, listen nor to find him. To “find God” is an expression that can mean different things to different people. For some, is getting religion, whatever religion that may be. For others, to “find God” means to “clean up one’s life,” usually with his help. In any case, to “find God” involves a change in someone’s attitude and behaviour. Biblically speaking, to find God means to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus that anyone can come to God (John 14:6), and receiving Christ results in a

You are a chosen generation

Reverend Muzembi  " Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded " 1 Peter 2:6 KJV Christ, is very precious to God. He is a chief corner stone upon this spiritual house God is building. You’re precious to God too, and " as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ " 1 Peter 2:5. We’re priests, who offer to God those things that please him - you matter so much to God. Christ is precious to you who believe in God through him, for without him we can do nothing, all our royalty is because him, and to those who reject him still he’s  precious, that when iniquity abounds they may fall. But you are not like them, for  through Christ you have been chosen by God himself, you are God's very own - all this so that you may show to others how God called you o
