The Spirit of Truth vs the Spirit of Error!

If you’re born of God if you’re of this salvation. It means you inquire and search carefully, searching what, or what manner of spirit you have, whether what you have is the spirit of Truth or is the Spirit of error. Unfortunately, some believers don’t know, no wonder why Jesus "turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.  For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them," Luke 9:55-56.

He is the spirit of meekness!

"And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us,” 1 John 3:24. He has given us the spirit of truth, and it’s the spirit of truth  who "will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come," John 16:13.

He guides us into knowing God, and especially into knowing God’s will for you.

"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered," Romans 8:26.

When you know him, you will not believe every spirit, “but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world," 1 John 4:1. By this you know the Spirit of God, i.e., the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

The spirit of truth keeps us from idols, he helps us overcome the world; he is love, faith, meekness, and all the other fruits of the spirit that you know of, "and it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth, 1 John 5:6. But the spirit of error, "speak as of the world, and the world hears them," 1 John 4:5, and does evil works, “and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one,” 1 John 5:19.

But we’re of God; “and we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life," 1 John 5:20.

We know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that

"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever," 1 John 2:15-17. But if you happen to have this world’s goods, share.

  1. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God,
    Romans 8:14.

The righteous requirement of the law, (the law could not do alone) was so that it could condemn sin in the flesh, or in us.
But it is now fulfilled in us who are spiritually minded, we who live and walk according to the spirit.
How do you live/walk according to the spirit?
    1. Christ should be in you; it is the spirit of Christ who enables you to please God. Romans 8:1 says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."
    2. And while in Christ, the law of the Spirit of life should make you "free from the law of sin and death," Romans 8:2. God sent "His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin," Romans 8:3. The plan was to "give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you," Romans 8:11. He know on your own you could do nothing.
"But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His," Romans 8:9. He comes in you in order to set you free from indwelling sin.
Listen to this, "For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs-heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together," Romans 8:13-17. Isn’t that tremendous?
Verse 20 says. "For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God."
If the spirit of Christ isn’t in you my friend, you will continue to groan, and all your efforts for Him could be in vain. Remember, you are subject to futility - not willingly! But the spirit was poured on us so that he can help us in our weaknesses, "For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered," Romans 8:26. He prays for us according to the will of God.

But even if you live or are led by the spirit,
"let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh AND SPIRIT, perfecting holiness in the fear of God," 2 Corinthians 7:1.
For indeed, some are spiritually unclean, because of unclean foul spirits, vainly puffed up. Even God’s spirit can vex you. But as Christian, you need no other spirit except the spirit of Christ, he is clean, smart and he will not distress you - He is the spirit of holiness.
Therefore when the spirit of Christ makes his home in you he will sanctify you and cleanses you from dead works to serve the living God, and “now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God," 1 Corinthians 2:12.

  2. The children of God, are those the word of God has taken effect in them.
"That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed," Romans 9:8.
The purpose of God according to election must stand, i.e., the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises, and that those who come to Him must worship the Father in spirit and truth.
To become children of God, the purpose of God according to election must stand in your life, "it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy," Romans 9:16. It’s His Spirit, the spirit of Christ who should qualify you and raise you, "For He says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion." Romans 9:15. Make sure that you fit in also in that purpose.
Apostle John says, "He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God," John 1:11-13.
Yes, Christ came, and as many as received Him, to them He gave power, He gave to them the right to become children of God, even to you who believe in His name, "And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace," John 1:16.
It’s the Spirit of Christ in you who makes you to receive him and to know him better.

Jesus is Rejected at Nazareth!

Then Jesus left the wilderness of Judea, where Satan tempted him for forty days, and " returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all. So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. " Luke 4:14-16 NKJV. Before, full of the Holy Spirit, he spent forty days in the wilderness being tempted by the devil, and now he returns to Galilee, in the power of the Spirit to begin his ministry. He taught in other synagogues, being glorified by all, but here in Nazareth, where He was brought up, is rejected. They handed to him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: " The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To

Who are you really working for?

I’m here to help you figure out who you’re really working for, because if you know you will provide great service for him/her, or them, no matter what you do, you need to know who they are and what they’re looking for. Someone is saying I am working for God, but that could be a blanket statement my friend because working for God means feeding His lambs, and is how you offer His sheep the best service possible. For some of us it is more clear cut than for others. I can’t tell you who you are working for, it would be wrong to assume that you’re serving God, men or yourself, etc, but I can help you identify who you’re really working for, and how you can do it with all of your heart if you find it well. Why we serve! We serve God for different reasons, but the work of the Lord couldn’t be same as the work of men or of the world. His is light, with no darkness at all - pure religion! The angel said to the church in Thyatira, “‘ These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of

The Wedding at Cana

This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him, John 2:11 KJV. The first time Jesus performed a miracle (revealed his glory) was at a wedding in Cana. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the celebration. Wine ran out, and Jesus' mother told him, " They have no more wine ." She went to him anticipating a miracle, and Jesus said, " Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come " John 2:4. But she tells the servants anyway, " Whatever He says to you, do it ."  This you should also know my friend, tell him your need anyway, and " Do whatever he tells you ." But be fully aware of the divine timing also. The timing by which waters are stirred up or the spirit moves is set by the Father. Jesus said to them, " Fill the waterpots with water. " And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, " Dr
