Paul says, "for in nothing was I behind the most eminent apostles, though I am nothing,"
"…most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me," 2 Corinthians 12:9
"And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, " and be found of such as you do not wish; with "contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults," 2 Corinthians 12:20.
“… I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong," 2 Corinthians 12:10. He says I take pleasure in infirmities, "lest, … my God will humble me among you, and I shall mourn for many who have sinned before and have not repented of the uncleanness, fornication, and lewdness which they have practiced," 2 Corinthians 12:21.
I love you folks, that’s why I write to you like this, "I do not seek yours, but you….and I will very gladly spend and be spent for your souls; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved,"2 Corinthians 12:14 -15. "But though we may seem disqualified…we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth," 2 Corinthians 13:7-8. This always remember though, that we do all things beloved, for your edification.
