Learn to persevere…

If you want to change your life for the good, you will probably need to learn to persevere and prevail. Continue fighting until you obtain!

Perseverance is persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success, and prevailing is to triumph or defeat an opponent especially in a long or difficult contest. Satan is a great example, he is your chief opposer, but he does not work alone - he works with situations, and evil workers also, who are just there to make you stumble.

But 1 Peter 5:8-9 says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith…"

Zechariah saw in a vision, that no one should get through life’s challenges without help. The problem with spiritual warfare you will be frustrated if you want to do it alone. You can’t do anything for yourself, you can’t even stand up. Noticing Joshua’s dilemma, "the LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you!" Zechariah 3:2. Then he turned his attention to Zechariah and said,"This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts. 'Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"'" Zechariah 4:6-7.

It is grace that helps us to persevere and prevail for without his spirit we can do nothing. He keeps us moving forward. With him we find the courage to run through a troop, and David said, “by my God have I leaped over a wall," 2 Samuel 22:30.

He continued to say, "As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. For who is God, save the Lord ? and who is a rock, save our God? God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds' feet : and setteth me upon my high places. He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip,” 2 Samuel 22:31-37.

Yes it’s in God where we find courage to face demons, or they will destroy you. In God where even if we are in great trouble, most painful moments, in life darkest, that we sing, "…Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts," for God is our strength. We persevere against the odds to create the life we want, until we receive the crown of righteousness.

Grant, O Lord, thy protection!

Reverend LC Muzembi May the Lord keep you safe. May he  shelter, cover, shield and defend you from harm all through your life. May you visibly see that he is doing so, not hearsay. Don’t even guess, but know for children who are under the protection of their parents don't even guess, but they know that their parents are keeping them safe. " If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? " How Luke 11:13. He's already given you the Holy spirit. " How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? " Hebrews 9:14. There's protection for you in the blood of Jesus. " If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little fait

Is the day of Christ at hand?

Jesus is coming back soon, but before Christ is come, a falling away is first. "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition" 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2. It is obvious that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon, and that we all shall be gathered together to him, but he shall come on a day we not aware of. May the Lord please direct your heart "into the love of God, and into the patiently waiting for Christ." Waiting doesn’t mean you should stop your day to day work. Paul said, "Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that

Experience God's peace!

Reverend LC Muzembi  "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" Philippians 4:8 KJV Yes my friend, stay true to the Lord, remember he is coming soon. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, and it’s peace which will keep you through this journey.  The Lord said, " Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you " John 14:27. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. And the Apostle said, " Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you " Philippians 4:9. In short, read your bible, study it through, receive its truths with open heart or the hearing of faith, acknowledge
